Their dad often beat them with a razor strap if they were misbehaving. Gacy’s mother was also physically assaulted by the father as well. What is your coping method for when you’re feeling upset or sad? What do you do to make yourself feel better? What do you think you could do with your life to help you survive your own thoughts and emotions? Johnnie is a well-known YouTuber who has been making videos for about three years. He is so well-known that he goes on tours and has over 250,000 subscribers on YouTube. I met him and a few other YouTubers at Warped Tour. Before Johnnie started making videos he was just another average teenager who did normal things with his life, like every other teenager. Johnnie Guilbert is one of the survivors, YouTubers, and songwriters who inspire me the most. He has been through a lot in his life such as death of a loved one, bullying, depression, and addictions. In spite of all this, he made it, and I believe I can as well.

One of the most horrendous serial killers in modern history would have to be John Wayne Gacy, Jr. He was the second of three children and born in 1942. He lived in Chicago and attended catholic schools, and wasn't a very popular boy in school. Gacy seemed to live a very normal childhood, with exception to his relationship with his father, and series of accidents that effected him. No one could have known what the future held for John, not even his father.
Gesturing toward the pipe organ, one anxious parishioner confidently declared, "Now that's church! If these kids had any faith at all, they'd be here every Sunday!” He clearly did not want "his" church full of children, especially if it meant giving up "his" organ music. To him, "worship with us" meant "worship like us". To him, conformity trumped diversity. To him, his religious conditioning was mandatory for everyone.
Marcus Mosiah Garvey (1887-1940) was a Jamaican born Black Nationalist, newspaper printer, writer, orator, and political advocate. Marcus Garvey was the answers to many African American’s prayers in his day. Countless African American lived lives of depression and a lack of hopefulness; many had low self-esteem and had been told and treated as though they were all the problems of this world. The African American people as whole need someone to come and act as a savior and restore hope in their somewhat weak and helpless lives. Marcus Garvey exemplifies the true definition of a well-educated powerful leader. He embraced this role with much vigor and utilized it in a positive way to reflect upon the people how one voice can change the masses.
As a pastor’s child, GJ was constantly surrounded with other church members' children which allowed him to never have a dull moment. GJ also had 3 siblings who he was very close to, GJ was never alone; he was always around his siblings and other kids to play and communicate with. One would rather say GJ social childhood was impeccable. GJ mentioned at 3-6 his father used to never let him ride the bus to school; he would always drop him off and pick him up. However, at the age of 7 his father decided to let him ride the bus to school and from school, which Erik Erikson would describe as initiative vs. Guilt & shame; his father encouraged him and allowed him to gain his independence. GJ was surrounded by other church members children to play with
Lori immediately went to work at getting John, His Most Handsome Holiness, enrolled at the local Catholic grade school. John longed to be at a school where he could share and learn of his faith. What started out as bad news – the school didn’t have room for our son – turned into good news the day before first grade was to begin, when the school surprised Lori with a phone call.
Thomas, you can practically find it any place where there are young Catholics who are not afraid to stand up and proclaim to the whole world what their beliefs are. In essence, the idea of Catholic School Unity entails the young Catholics of today, these same young men and women who will become the clergy and religious and laity of tomorrow, working together to fulfill the goals of the other, and learning to understand their reliance for one another. Now, there is an old saying within the Greater American Catholic School System, which states happiness does not come from Man living on bread alone (Matthew 4:4). In actuality, happiness stems from order, and from order stems authority, and from there lies the root of happiness:
