Although they are a "happily married", I questioned Abigail when she stated, "I wish you would ever write me a letter half as long as I write you." I wonder why Abigail would question him but I also ask myself, why isn't John writing as much? Their spelling and capitalization was not very good but I honestly feel the time period effected that in many ways.
