What, you think using cellphones at school is a good idea. Now days cell phones have so many used apps and while student's are at school they are attempting to look on their phones. Everywhere you go in this present time all you see is toddlers on up to adults with phones because they are so addicted to technology. People would rater buy new phones that the company comes out with instead of buying things that they need because they think they can survive with a cell phone. Cell phones are very helpful but so many people have took advantage of that and have become so addicted to them. Now days in this particular time everything is at everyone's fingertips and they get what they want when they want it. When they ask someone for something they want or need that they can't get on a cell phone, they expect to get it right at that second that they ask for it. Using cell phones at school is a bad idea. School's should not allow student's to use their cell phones at school.

Having phones as technology in school could help or hinder students education. To start, children can take pictures when they’re not supposed to while having cell phones in school. They can cheat by taking pictures of the test and sharing it to their friends. Maybe even the whole school. This can cause some serious problems. In addition, kids can take pictures of notes before the test and discreetly look at them during the test while the teacher isn’t noticing. “pictures may be taken at home of notes that can easily be hidden within a phone and later used to cheat on an exam” (Safe Search Kids). This is worse. Lastly, having kids take pictures when they’re not supposed can cause cyberbullying. Kids can take pictures of other kids (that can be something embarrassing) and post it on social media. Cyberbullying can affect students’ classwork by not focusing, or not going to school. Although cell phones can be a distraction in school because of social media, they come to a good cause if teachers actually look at it. Phones can be in a good cause because, when students go on field trips. The students would be able to capture field trip memories and post them on social media, the school could have a school website and the students would be able to post that to the website. Students would be able to imagine Historical figures and how it is used. Students would be able to research and look up things like pictures on instagram they have there on pages for Historical events. When students are in science they can record science steps and post, then instagram so people could get the video off of them and try them.

Post inception of the cell phone has fueled a shift in the civility of adolescent social interaction. Gone are the days of seeing teenagers imaginatively playing alongside each other with the only restriction being his or her ability to effectively communicate. Virtual conversations, text messages and online social networks have replaced development of social skills through personal interactions. Students are sent to school to learn and by playing with cell phones during classes students are not learning anything that will help them with a career or their futures. Students can also text friends in other classrooms and not have their minds in the classroom that they are in. Students may eventually stop coming to school because they can just stay home and use their cell phones and do other things.

Even though phones can be used in school for educational purpose, as in taking test or getting research, they can also be a hazard. Many teachers and even parents are worried about whether or not phones need to be band. There are many reasons to why phones should or shouldn't be banned, but more of the problems that teachers run into are against cell phones not for. With kids bullying or being bullied through social media and even text and videos, cheating may occur, along with texting in class and not paying attention in class.

Cell phones aren’t usually that big so it gives the students a great opportunity to cheat. Most of the time during a test, students go to different websites to look for answers .Since they get free Wi-Fi in classrooms; it even becomes easier for them to cheat. In addition to that students can also trade answers with other students in class through Facebook, sms, kik, message and other social apps.Nowadays, cell phones have become one of the most useful source in America. In other words, a month earlier, I was looking through some photographs in my library class .The pictures were about students who cheats on class works, tests, quizzes and homework and can even go to Gail for plagiarism. On the other hand, today’s students take this as a joke. They don’t realize how it affects their grades. You can cheat a lot in life but one day there will be nothing to cheat from or anyone to get the answers from. In spite of this it is not always mandatory for someone to depend on a source more than themselves. This was another reason to explain why students should not be allowed to bring cell phones to school.
