Jesua Calderon There are many problems in the world and i’m exposing them. The first problem is that some schools or maybe even all of them have no urinal wall. The last problem I have in my mind is animal abuse. Those are the problems I have with the community today. The urinals without walls are just a horrible creation! No men wants their property to be exposed or looked at while using the restroom. That would just be an awkward moment between men and children. They can fix this simple mistake by just putting the wall up. That would just be ignorant to let men look at other men while using the restroom in school or other place without the walls. Animal abuse is a huge problem to people who care about them. People in about every state
Every 60 seconds an animal is abused. Dogs, cats, horses, and many other types of animals are being neglected and tortured everyday, yet resulting in few and minor consequences for the perpetrators. Animal abuse is prevalent in the United States and has been an ongoing issue since the 1970's, and prior to. Society as a whole has chosen to avoid the facts and arguments about animal cruelty, because to some it is seen as acceptable and typical. It becomes much more frowned upon when people actually see the results of the cruelty, especially in the media.
In this week reading, “Calling All Restroom Revolutionaries”, by Simone Chess, Alison Kafer, Jessi Quizar, and Mattie Udora Richardson they expressed three main points throughout the article. The first main point in this article is that “ bathrooms are easier to access for some of us than for others.” This is an issue that some people don’t know about or don’t even think is a problem. Recently this has been a hotbed topic, within the media but I have been aware of this problem for sometime now. Many of my close friends have expressed their concerns about the bathroom situation well before this became a newsworthy topic. In addition, this topic has always bothered me because it is a bathroom and people mostly use the bathroom for two purposes.
The girls’ bathrooms at Buchanan High are extremely neglected and under kept which poses health concerns for students. The sanitary issues in the bathroom is a problem for everyone because it tells students’ not important enough to have clean and well- maintained bathrooms, which is demoralizing. Under-maintained restrooms suggest an unhealthy learning environment. Therefore, the lack of seat covers, irregular stock up of soap, and lack of feminine hygiene products offered in the bathroom are serious issues that need to be addressed for the safety and morale of female students.
According to the ARPN Consensus Model, there are three core courses that educational programs must provide; these courses are: advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, and health assessment (Holley, 2016). While entry-level nurses are trained in these areas, the APN is further trained in creating a diagnosis differential, anticipating which medications will be appropriate, and utilizing a more thorough assessment. In my current role as a floor RN, I know why I am giving certain medications and what they are used for and I am able to identify and report abnormal clinical findings. As an APN student, I am learning how to take these abnormal findings and create an advanced plan of care that involves identifying and treating the cause.
Animal abuse is a quiet epidemic that is spreading throughout the world. The amount of animal abuse is growing and we must do something to stop it. Animal abuse is not putting a choke collar on a dog to keep it from biting an individual; it is not killing an animal for food. Animal abuse is the knowing or intentional "(1) tortures or serious overworks [of] an animal"; the "(2) failing unreasonably to provide necessary food, care, or shelter for an animal in his custody; kills, injures, or administers poison to an animal; [or] (6) causes one animal to fight with another" (Title 3). The majority of states in the U.S. classify abusive treatment toward animals as a misdemeanor. A misdemeanor is punished by a fine of
Everyday, every second that passes by, animals across the globe are mistreated in their so-called “home”. Stop animal abuse! Abusers of animal are five times as likely to harm humans. Nearly half of the time victims who stay in violent households do so because they are afraid for their own animals. Countless more never leave the home for their very reason. This issue should be further looked into by identifying states with poorly laws against animal abuse, the wrong doing of taking advantage in the use of human resources, and having absolutely no heart in having a friendly companion.
Animal abuse awareness is very important because it is showing that harm to an animal is not okay, it is a crime, and should not be taken lightly. Animals feel too, “dogs don’t hide what they feel” ( Marc Bekoff, The Emotional
Even though it may not seem like it , animals being abused on purpose is a very common issue today. There are people who think that animals do not deserve any respect (Missimer). They look at animals as slaves or something they can just push around and force to do anything. Why get the animal if you're not going to respect it. Some of the people may have experienced violence themselves (Missimer). Nine times out of ten people that neglect their animals , have experienced some type of violence or abuse in their own lives. Being abused or in
Animal Cruelty is a growing problem in today's society.
Each year, the most extreme cases of animal abuse receive media attention. Yet, the animal cruelty problem is more widespread than is reported in the media. Animal abuse and neglect is a nationwide issue, affecting thousands of animals nationwide. Cruelty to animals is defined as the infliction of physical pain, suffering or death on an animal, beyond what is necessary. There is a need to stop abusers from acting in such a horrific manner–preventing the neglect and suffering of the animals. What causes animal abusers to act in such a cruel way towards animals? How are cases of animal abuse being managed, and how should cases be handled? Finally, does the status of animals in society contribute to the rate of their abuse?
As a young student, I have been naturally devoted to community service and volunteer opportunities where my school and community has had the favorable circumstance to witness my encounters with people of diverse skill levels, lifestyles, and backgrounds. Outside of school, I have participated in volunteer projects with the Goodwill Youth Board as Vice-President, Red Cross Youth Board, Augusta Mini Theater Community Arts and Life Skills School as Co-Student Body Representative, Boys and Girls Club, and Dr. Jeanne L. Nobel Delta GEMS Institute, and more. At school, I founded a drama club to allow students to express themselves through their talents since magnet schools obtain a primary focus on academics that doesn't allow students to participate
Obviously girls getting their periods is natural and shouldn't be criticized. But the sad fact is, it is. Girls are getting bullied and embarrassed for it. This problem occurs because we don't have the stuff girls need when they start. Yes, most people remember to bring products, but the some that forget, get really embarrassed and not a good day. This is why having dispensers in girl's bathrooms is important.
Animal Cruelty is a problem that many ignore. People are oblivious to these animals and the negligence their owners show. Animal cruelty is an underlying problem in today’s society, and the only way to counteract these problems, is for this generation to do something about it.
For many years now the world has seen controversy over the rights of animals and if they think and feel like humans do. Many people see animals as mindless creatures or as food, while others think they have emotions and can feel pain. In other countries animal protection laws are in place that are strictly enforced and seem to work well with the system. In the United States however; some of the animal rights laws are considered to be useless and under-enforced (Animal Legal & Historical Center). More people today are beginning to see that animals should have rights and should be protected by laws and regulations (Animal Legal & Historical Center). Sadly there are many people residing in the United States who don’t take animal rights or protection laws seriously. These people abuse animals in many ways, including food industries that disobey the regulations set in place for the slaughter of animals used for consumption. Luckily for the animals there are people who fight for their rights and the enforcement of laws called animal rights activists.
A mobile wireless sensor network, shortly WMSN, can be defined as a wireless network of a sensor nodes that are mobile. Motivation behind a mobile wireless sensor network is to capture real world data and convert them so it can be transferred, processed, stored and later studied or analyzed (Guo, 2014). The MWSN is usually a combination of two or more technologies such as mobility, wireless connectivity and the ability to gather local information. The mobile wireless sensor network is usually deployment of a large number of small, inexpensive, self-powered nodes and receiving station (Kumbhare, Rangaree, & Asutkar, 2016). These MWSN can be effectively used for civil and military purposes.
