Throughout his addiction Jenkins overdosed six different times and is still alive to tell the story.
The first time he overdosed, he waited in the car for his friends to come out of a gas station after just shooting up. A nurse from a nearby hospital, Weirton Medical Center, found him unconscious hanging partially out of the car. They revived him in the parking lot but he faded out again in the ambulance. It was not until he arrived at the hospital that he woke up again.
“I was woken up on the scene and then faded out and did not wake up again until I was taken to Weirton Medical Center, when I woke up I realized that the hospital never checked me when they brought me in because I still had heroin in my pocket” shared Jenkins. Once
First he had tachycardia which is when the heart rate is abnormally high. Because of the tachycardia, there is less time for the heart to pump blood to the other parts of the body. Since not enough blood is going to the heart, body and the brain, he lost consciousness.
Unfortunately, the blood loss was too great and he was unable to be saved. He did not

After collapsing of sudden cardiac arrest, Zack was declared dead for 20 minutes before he came back to life. What makes it so remarkable is what happened during those 20 minutes – described in the video above – and the likelihood of it happening.
Previously, drug overdose deaths within the county were treated as "unattended or accidental deaths." D.A. Baker says "those deaths aren't accidents, somebody sold those drugs to that person. Somehow those drugs, whether we are dealing with heroin or synthetics, they got to that person. There was a crime that made that happen and that's what we're going to look at now."

On July 7, 1946 he took the new XF-11 plane up for a spin. After about an hour he crashed at the LA Country Club golf course. The crash left him unconscious in a burning plane with a punctured lung, fractured leg and a bunch of cuts and burns. A Marine sergeant pulled Hughes out of the plane, and he was rushed to Beverly Hills Emergency Hospital. He was given a fifty percent chance to live. As he suffered with serious head and back injuries, he became addicted to painkillers. Hughes was constantly self- injecting morphine into his body. As the years passed he became irrationally paranoid. He surrounded himself with aides that he trusted; a group of seven Mormons which never left Howard s side, and insisted that any item handed to him be covered by a Kleenex.
The emergency crews came in and took Kenneth and he was successful revived at the hospital. However, the doctors told Tammy that Kenneth has suffered brain damage and he was put in life support. Kenneth was taken off life support and has passed

I know a little something about how person acts after a drug overdose. The hospital that I work at drug overdose is common. I sit with a lot these patients because when they come out their comatose state, their first actions are to get out of or fight because they have no knowledge about how what happened or where they are. Some patients have to be restrained because when the drugs wear off, the first thing they want to do is leave the hospital. The hospital has a 72 hour hold on patients that are aware where they are and what happened that caused them to come to the hospital

I had to be careful and so patience was my midnight companion. As soon as I felt safe enough, I ran home to my joke of an apartment. It was about three thirty in the morning when I arrived. My apartment situated between a barber shop and a roach infested deli. I bent down to pick up the mail. “Liam Young. Room 118 Shady Oaks Apartments. Carson City, Nevada.” read the envelope. Another bill. It was always bills, nothing else. I opened the door and the smell of burnt spoons and empty dreams filled my nostrils. Home sweet home. I hopped in the shower for a scorching ten minutes then jumped into bed. One thing was stopping me from submitting to the much needed deep sleep, my busy mind. It was racing too fast for me to control my thoughts. my body was flooded with adrenaline and I could feel the blood pumping through my veins. I felt the need to stay awake. Just in case. I thought about my family and how they didn’t accept me because of my undesirable habit. I just wanted to quit. I wanted it to end. But it wouldn’t. It was a need. All of a sudden my eyes met a lonesome vial sitting there, tempting me. I grabbed the nearest needle, not feeling the necessity to sterilize it, filled it with the ever alluring heroin and waited. What was I waiting for exactly? I studied the golden brown hue in the seductive liquid. The way it bubbled up when boiled. The way it sat there wanting to be used. I didn’t want to do this. What was I doing?
nd unconscious in his home alone after a distress call he phoned in himself. Increase in heart rate, blood pressure and metabolism. Possible seizure. Rapid breathing, tremors and loss of coordination. Symptoms of a drug overdose; of what kind… well, it 's too much to determine. Looked like he ingested an assortment of pills and tablets. The traces of white in his nostrils implied cocaine. Needed to be pumped. This guy was lucky as hell to still be alive when we got there, I tell ya. Hopefully, he 's fortunate enough to live through this."
