In general, she lived a very happy childhood, but got teased because of her last name. Kids were tend to call her “ Rowling Pin”, so she was never fond of her own last name. At a very young age, Rowling became interested in writing, and often would write in her free time. Her attempts weren’t very successful though. When she was six years old, she wrote a story and asked her mother to get it published. Her mother never got it published, but despite what happened, Joanne’s good friend, Sean, always gave her strength and courage.
