Jason was an ancient Greek mythological hero he was the head of the Argonauts. He was the son of Aeson, The King of Lolcos. Jason and the Argonauts were a group of heroes that traveled from Greece to far distances to try and find the Golden Fleece. Peilas was desperate for power over the kingdom so he locked Aeson in the dungeon. Aeson got married in the dungeon and had several children one of them was the well know Greek god Jason. Jason was smuggled off to the centaur Chiron, who reared him secretly on Mt. Pelion. Later Pelias promised Jason his rightful kingdom if he would bring the Golden Fleece to Boeotia.
