If any of these players retired tomorrow, there is little to no doubt they'll be inducted into the Hockey Hall of fame.
1. Jaromir Jagr
Here's a no brainer of course, as Jaromir Jagr will likely even have his three-year eligibility wait waived. He moved into second place for all-time points last year (1,914), third in goals, and fifth in playoff scoring. Add an Olympic gold medal and two Stanley Cup rings, and you've got a future hall of famer.
2. Sidney Crosby
“Sid the Kid” will have a similar legacy as Mario Lemieux, as he will absolutely dominate on the ice if he can stay off the injured reserve. Three Stanley cups, a pair of Art Ross and Rocket Richard trophies, along with two Olympic gold medals will certainly put Crosby's name in the

Their cup window may be coming to a close now, but Toews has no doubt proven his worth to the game.
4. Alexander Ovechkin
The biggest smudge on his career will always be the lack of Cups, but Alexander Ovechkin's talent is just too proven to be overlooked. His seven 50 goal campaigns in the last decade might

make you believe you're watching the high scoring hockey of the eighties, but don't be mistaken; scoring has gone down considerably in the NHL and the Great Eight just manages to defy the odds.
5. Evgeni Malkin
Somehow, Evgeni Malkin manages to fly under the radar year in and year out. His health concerns are the biggest issue, but rest assured he is still one of the top players in the league. Like Crosby, his three Stanley Cups, two Art Ross trophies and Conn Smythe award should put him safely in the hall of fame (and on the NHL's Top 100 players list, from which he was snubbed last year).
Honorable mentions
Pavel Datsyuk doesn't have the individual awards, but should be a lock once he retires from the KHL. Plenty of Cup-less veterans deserve a spot, including Jarome Iginla, Henrik Lundqvist and Jumbo Joe
Blake also breaks up fights to prevent an injury of one of his teammates. Lastly, Blake never retaliates when he is slashed or somebody says something hurtful to him. One reason why Carl, from the Oilers should be awarded most valuable player is because he is an overall better player. Carl has more goals and assists than Blake. Carl is also a tremendous skater and is much faster than Blake. Unfortunately for Carl, he is an extremely immature player. Carl has over 50 penalties and he also swears at referees during the game if the ref makes a bad call “he will not be shy about pronouncing his feelings” (Rosengren 139). Carl has an extremely short temper and because of this he gets into lots of fights, and will punch other players. The most valuable player award is awarded to only one player. The two contestants for the award are very different types of hockey player. Blake is a very mature and is truly the captain of his team. Carl, is a very talented player and scores lots of goals but he gets lots of penalties, which hurts his team. The scorekeeper will have a very difficult decision; will he choose Blake or
According to Lyle Richardson, a columnist for the bleacher report, the rosters for the 12 teams have been announced and a considerable number of NHL players made the cut. Indeed, some of these teams are entirely made up of NHL stars. Every NHL team has players headed to Sochi, with some teams seeing a significant number of stars competing in the tournament. Russia has predicted to beat Sweden for the gold in the championship game but the Sweden’s are not going away easily. Every
Steve Yzerman holds the record for a lot of the categories for the red wings all time. He holds the NHL record for most game winning goals. He also holds the franchise record for most career assists. Steve Yzerman was also the captain of the Red Wings. Steve Yzerman has changed hockey forever. He will always be one of the greatest Red Wings of all time.
But their luck changed in 2015–16 when, after a slow start and a mid-season coaching change, the team got through the playoffs and won the Stanley Cup, defeating the San Jose Sharks four games to two. Seven years after winning his first Cup at age 21, Crosby was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as playoff MVP with six goals and 13 assists. After he won the award he said, "I look at this as a total team effort. I tried to work hard every night, do my job just like everyone else. I don't know if I did anything different or specific.
Nikolay Kulemin got the message, even though he was spared the public wrath. He was much more active last night and dogged on the forecheck. Marek Zidlicky (23:45) and Steve Bernier (20:21 plus 9 hits) were also both very effective making their series debuts. With a combined 115 games of playoff experience between them, both should remain in the lineup as Jack Capuano continued to push mostly all the right buttons in this series.
Two I will talk about include Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr. Wayne Gretzky played for the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings during his career. He later became the all-time leading point’s leader in NHL history. He started his career in the WHA and stayed on the Oilers for most of his NHL career winning many Hart Trophies as league MVP as well as Stanley Cups. He was a brilliant passer and scorer and is considered one of the best to ever play the game along with Bobby Orr. His 50 goals in 39 games is a feat most likely to stand forever, along with his 92 goal season.
On-ice performance: achieved playoff contention every year since 2003; Ranked third of thirty teams in NHL
Another hockey great, who was purely Canadian, and proved his worth in the game of hockey, is the amazing Rocket Richard. He was known for his excellence, but was also just as well known for his great spirit and love for the game. He, as well as Gretzky, was given the honour of being among the best in the Hockey Hall of Fame. In 1955, Richard was, without thought, suspended from the league, Canada, especially Montrealers, went into complete uproar, inducing numerous death threats upon the president Clarence Campbell, as well as what has been called the worst riot in Canadian sports history. This example really shows how dedicated Canadians are when backing up their own players, the ones they know are the best.
Before the NHL even came calling, the 36-year old winger had to withstand the test of time and determination.
“Either the big heavyweight guys like Brian McGrattan, or the smaller agitators. I would hate to see the unintended side effects of where hockey would go without fighting, without that threat of retribution. It’s a fast, violent game where we’re wearing weapons on our feet and essentially carrying a club. So while a two- or five- minute penalty is a bad thing, it’s not going to knock somebody off their path of destruction as much as somebody grabbing them and punching them in the face.” Guys in the NHL are literally paid just to go out there and either try to get under the stars of the other teams skin or just to go fight one of the other players to get the team all hyped up. Not having those guys in the NHL will just be like watching the World Junior teams play against each other. Or it could turn out to be total mayhem because players know if they hit the super star of the team real hard they aren’t going to have to fight anyone, so the stars of each team will automatically be targeted.
He shoots he scores! The history of hockey has changed over time. There are many good players that wouldn't be as good if these changes wouldn't have changed.
All of the rosters of the twelve teams have at least one NHL player on its roster. However, the NHL is thinking about not letting its players play in the Olympics because it cuts into the season, and there is a risk of getting there star players injured.
Power is an addiction. The less one has the more they desire. Addiction controls the body’s actions, and there is no way to stop it. Macbeth by Shakespeare contains details on the murder of the King of Scotland. Macbeth kills the king in order to fulfill a prophecy, and his mindset shifts from good to evil. Ultimately, he is beheaded for his heinous crimes. Nero, the last emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, commits crimes punishable of death in order to exemplify his power. He kills his mother, step brother, friends, and innocent people in the towns in order to get exactly what he wants. Nero is betrayed by many people because of his careless action, and he commits suicide to protect his pride. Macbeth and Nero both use ambition, greed, power, and deception to secure the highest positions in their lifetimes.
Most of the traditions and concepts that we have today can be traced back to ancient times. When thinking about Ancient Rome, people usually remember the many concepts that were important to the Romans. Many of these concepts have also carried on to today in different ways. Romans in Ancient Rome had multiple things that were important to them including architecture, politics, and more. They would base the way they live around these concepts and would give their all towards how these concepts were used. In ancient Rome, religion was considered quite an important concept and we can see that through how they worshipped, the emperor’s knowledge of religion, and the effect religion had on the Romans.
