One of the historical figures I admire the most is General William Jackson Palmer. General Palmer was born in 1836 in Delaware. He would go on to become “A civil engineer, Civil War soldier, owner and co-founder of the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad, philanthropist” (historycolorado.org). During the Civil War, he quickly became a young general and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions. After relocating to Denver, his railroad success was only part of the impact he had on the Colorado frontier. He founded Colorado Springs with a Utopian vision in mind, and enforced a level of morality that was rarely seen in Colorado at that time. He would go on to establish organizations and buildings that aided the sick, supported and encouraged

Aches and pains have become a general part of everyone's life these days. Whether you are a homemaker, a working professional, a computer specialist or a sports enthusiast in Blackwood, the risk of injury always hovers. These aches and shooting pains if not treated in time, can lead to a build-up of complicated musculo-skeletal and soft tissue problems. Physiotherapy can help heal these problems without the use of powerful medications which come with their own set of side effects.
Alexander Gideon Lightwood or as he calls himself, Alec, is a kick butt, sexy looking Shadowhunter from the book series The Mortal Instruments. He was born in Idris in September 1989 and the eldest child of Robert and Maryse Lightwood. His siblings are Isabelle Sophia, Max Joseph (Rest his soul), and his adopted brother Jace Lightwood Herondale. Soon after he was born, he and his family were exiled from Idris, because his parents had joined with a rebel group called, The Circle of Raziel. An occult like group whose purpose was to purify the world of demons, magical creatures, and all species of Downlorders for the human kind. His family now runs the New York Institute for the Shadowhunter council as their punishment and where he and his siblings grew up together.
Charles L. Reason was an African American mathmatician in the year of 1849. He was born on July 21, 1818 in New York City. His parents were Michiel and Elizabeth Reason. Reason has always been an incredible student in mathematics. He even became the instructor of the school at only the age of fourteen in 1832. It had been a bizzare matter for the news. Thomas Barnardo, A man born sick. Thomas barnardo’s family were fearful, for he was mistakenly pronounced dead two times by different doctors, luckily he grew up strong. Thomas started caring about those who were in need of food and homes like orphans so he gave out a helping hand courageously. Pancho Barnes is by far one of my favorite women. She was a woman deeply involved in aviation, and a great believer and activist for equality in the aerial field. After convincing World War I veteran Ben Caitlin to be her instructor, her flight career as a barnstormer began in 1928. While an active member of the 99s, an organization of female pilots that assisted one another in the male-dominated industry, Pancho founded the first union for stunt pilots in movies. Though she lost most of her inheritance during the Great Depression, she was able to start a successful business: a semi-private club where pilots from a nearby military base and celebrities frequently came to unwind. She was an incredibly interesting person who lived a very full

Folk music includes lyrics and or songs about depression, oppression, and war, etc. It's known for telling a story. Typical instrumentation includes acoustic guitars, banjo, fiddle, and accordion, accompanying a voice. More exotic (though still very much not uncommon instruments) instruments may include the dulcimer, a simple stringed lap instrument; the zither, another stringed lap instrument; and various percussive instruments. (Chouiniere) There is a strong nationalist (choosing to support a political independence for a group within a nation) component to the music, as it is largely associated with the
Francis Hutcheson (1694-1746) was one of the most influential Scottish philosophers of the eighteenth-century. He is very well known for his application of the empirical methods in the field of ethics. The importance of his position in moral philosophy lies in his defence of the view that moral distinctions are derived from a moral sense. “For historians and political scientists, the emphasis has been on his theories of liberalism and political rights; for philosophers and psychologists, Hutcheson’s importance comes from his theories of human nature, which include an account of an innate care and concern for others and of the internal senses (including the moral sense)” . Hutcheson’s philosophy and writings serve as the foundations to study the works of Adam Smith, his most famous student, and the moral and political theories of David Hume.
