Ben Rodkey Glaser English 10 3-4-15 ISIS ISIS has been a rapidly increasing threat to not just the United States of America, but the entire world. ISIS has done countless brutal, sick, heart wrenching things that have caused a national and international uproar in the citizens of numerous countries. ISIS considers them the Islamic State, and they seem to have many motives. They basically want a large portion of the Middle east under ISIS control and for the rest of the world to accept their disgusting “traditions” as they claim they are doing, This threat has done some very unspeakable things; the problem needs to be solved. Considering the view the United State holds right now, there are a few actions that can be taken to reduce this threat that ISIS presents. ISIS has rapidly become an enormous problem for most of, if not all of the world. There are some very simple and some very complicated ways to solves this problem. The most efficient way is to simple go to war with ISIS and physically, mentally and emotionally destroy everything and everyone that is supporting this cause, another way is to give them what they desire to have, finally the last option is just completely ignore the foreign issue until it presents itself on U.S. soil. After an online video emerged on Tuesday, January 21st, 2015, showing ISIS threatening to kill two Japanese hostages, relatively little was known about the relationship between the two prisoners. But Reuters News revealed later that next day
Force is the only thing that ISIS respects. I believe that the action that the United States government is taking is a good start, but if the efforts fail, I truly think they must step up and take whatever measures necessary in putting an end to this travesty. They are endangering the lives of so many people that it would be crazy for the United States and other leading world powers to not take aggressive action in defending them. ISIS attacks many innocent people through violence, terror, and social media tactics. We must do whatever it takes to take them down, before they become even stronger and pose a larger threat to the United States and the
After the incident on September 11, 2001, the attack captured a huge attention all over the world and made others more aware of terror. 1n 1996, terrorism became popular when Osama Bin Laden formed Al-Qaeda network. The attack was a surprised worldwide and it brought a huge affect to the United States government and other countries as well.
Throughout history, barbaristic groups or armies, have threatened the world and specifically the United States. In WW2, you normally think of the brutality of the Nazis. However, the United States main worry was the Japanese military. The US was appalled by the barbarous demeanor of the Japanese. Nearly 71 years later, the US is alarmed at the cruelty of the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Although their motivated by different things, in both ISIS and Japanese codes of conduct, there is no room for mercy, cruelty is their code.
four airlines and carried out suicide attacks against the United States buildings. 2,996 people were killed and more than 6,000 other were injured. 9/11 was the biggest influence on the United States. The attacks on 9/11 toward the buildings, there has been changes in airports and the immigration system. “Isis skills are so beneficial to our world today” She is such an influential and powerful women and she so influenced our modern world today. Isis’s name means “throne” and with a name like that you just know that this girl is going to be an awe-inspiring queen. She was often referred as a beautiful woman wearing a sheath headdress; very intimidating look she had. Isis was also the daughter of the earth god Geb.
Since the brutalizing attacks that occurred in the United States on September 11, 2001, terrorist groups such as al Qaeda, and its subdivision turned adversary - the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria - which we affectionately refer to as ISIS, have metastasized into a worldwide threat that has shaken our way of life, our culture, and our approach to our opponents (Kohlmann). From 2013 to 2014 there was a whopping 35% increase in terrorism with attacks in 95 countries, proving that despite the valiant counterattacks, terrorism will not go down without a fight (Williams). Of course, the United States did declare a “war on terror” that despite many cons did result in the ultimate pro - the assassination of Osama bin Laden, the leader of al Qaeda and mastermind behind many terrorist attacks, including 9/11 (Shah). All casualties aside, the death of bin Laden, and more specifically the means by which his
The most recent presidential race associated the most dangerous fear and entity to the United States is ISIS, which is a radical Islamist extremist group that models their actions closely with Sharia Law. ISIS mainly consists of terrorists that are willing to do anything to destroy more prominent Western civilization. ISIS is the terrorist group of this current generation; however, they were not the first terrorist group in this region. Terrorist groups started as a result of Arab nations lack of ability to militarily confront Israel during the 1960s. The Palestinian secular movements such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Al Fatah began to target civilians that were not associated within the immediate arena of conflict.
Why Do I Want to Be a Kappa? Everyone in life has a desire to be successful, and depending on who that person is, that definition of success is different. Going to college and getting a degree in a field of choice was an extensive goal of mine through out high school. With that degree I will be able to have a career in something that I love. With this career I hope to make enough money to satisfy the amount of bills I will need to pay.
isis is infiltrating the U.S more and more and even as we speak someone is probably cooking up a plan of attack which is why we need to do something now. According to CNN news post there is yet another element to the process of shutting down Isis, and that is social media, television programs, and other information sources that anyone can access might be a huge problem because any time that Fox news or CNN announces something about Isis or a plan of attack, Isis will hear that and will be able to prepare ahead of time. Another way to eliminate isis from our country is to increase borderline security all around the U.S even by shore line to insure that nobody is sneaking into the country to cause trouble and commit
In order to formulate a policy against ISIS, there must to be an understanding regarding how ISIS came to be and what its motives are. ISIS is a terrorist organization that began as al-Qaeda in Iraq. In time, ISIS split from al-Qaeda for ideological differences, mainly because ISIS wanted to control large areas of land in order to establish a caliphate. In the past year ISIS became increasingly violent, and started being stricter with the regions they hold under their control, such as beheading people, and burning them alive. Now ISIS controls an area roughly the size of the United Kingdom in Iraq and Syria. ISIS’ main objective is to establish a caliphate where they can follow Islam to its strictest interpretation.
Al-Qaeda has shaped the U.S. and its Anti-Western ideology that has corrupted the world. This terrorist organization was constructed by Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden’s main goal was to drive the United States armed forces out of Saudi Arabia and Somalia through the technique of violence. Members of Al-Qaeda issued fatwas indicating that the attacks were both proper and necessary. Al-Qaeda had a command and control structure which included a consultation council, allowing many heartbreaking attacks to form. The al-Qaeda organization used horrendously violent acts to induce terror during catastrophes, causing social climate of distrust and fear to emerge the American citizens.
It has become an important target to the U.S., and has also executed multiple victims around the world. There has also been many American citizens who have been arrested for association, or becoming a part of ISIS’s plans to attack the United States. But, this is trending all around the world, and has become difficult to stop spreading. They are causing a tragic flaw in the stability of America, questioning who the true psychopaths are, and where safety lies in America. ISIS have said that they are not only planning to terrorize America, but also segregate it. On the other hand, the United States government believes that, to stop all this brutality in America, we need to cause war in their regions
All around the world, many are whispering questions about this new terrorist group ISIS. Are they truly a danger to the United States or any other country or are they only dangerous to the Middle East? Can they be easily defeated or have they gotten too far out of hand to be stopped? Critical thinkers, however, are formulating their opinions on the situation. The naïve disbelieve that this notorious terrorist group poses any real threat to humanity and that all are safe from their reaches and brutality. While others believe they are very dangerous and maybe too strong to completely handle or stop. These analyzers are wise to be skeptical about the IS’s abilities because once one underestimates the strength of its opponent
Just imagine looking back in the old high school days, and remembering when the teachers decided to group people together for a project. Of course, they didn’t let the students pick their groups because why not let them work with people they don’t usually pick. When they finally pick the group and have everyone sit down and tell them their projects, all the minds and ideas start to clash. Everyone is starting to talk over another and there isn’t one single person that is stepping up and going to take the responsibility to say something. There’s a term for that
Hello, I am Ashley Orndorff. This is my second class that I have taken with you. I am currently enrolled in two of your classes this semester. I am on my final stretch towards earning my degree in Early Childhood Education. Earning my degree took a little longer than I anticipated, however I am glad that I took the time to stick to my goals. I am 20 years old and live in Woodstock Virginia. Within the past year, my life has been very chaotic, but exciting. In March of 2016, I became engaged to my high school sweetheart of six years. We are planning a wedding for October of 2017. This is one event that I cannot wait for. One way that I push myself through school, is by reminding myself that after I finish school, I can focus fully on wedding
