The objective of this task is to use the elements and techniques of animation in Flash CC to create an interactive educational software element for a target audience. In the case the target will be directed towards adolescents influenced by the age of technology.
Context
This project was quite expeditious due to the number of alternate subjects studied within the constraints of school. This made it quite difficult to complete because time limits were evident and tested. This could have had a substantial impact on the project itself, however, it did not because of skill and precision. Working individually could be beneficial in certain circumstances if one is smart, advantages might include independence and personal idea. Although, it was not easy coming up with good ideas and multi-tasking in different areas individually. In addition, working in a class group was helpful due to the amount of

Adobe Flash CC was the general software used; however, there were limitations in this program. The amount of time given to complete this assignment was sufficient in order for a high achievement. This was governed by a Gantt chart for project management. A Gantt chart named after Henry Gantt a 1900s mechanical engineer; is a sequence of horizontal lines that exhibits the sum of work done in certain periods of time. It would appear conspicuous to assume that the time allocated was highly adequate for this task. Another essential point is the impact of resources; the outline states - 'using the concepts of animation in Flash CC, create an educational animation". This restricted individuals from using an alternate softwares and creating other animations. Furthermore, a reasonable amount of resources were provided to effectively complete this project. There is, therefore, no doubt that this project was thoroughly produced for efficient and on-time

Thanks for addressing this. Although, I have just came aboard to this project in the last month; I would be happy to offer what I know.
When we were given the final assignment’s instructions, I was very confused by it. I did not understand what were we supposed to do and how to do it. I had an idea on mind, however after talking to Professor McNair, I understood what the assignment was and I realized that I needed a new pitch for the final project. The task was to create a short 30 seconds story with no dialogue, which had a beginning, middle and end. In addition, the story needed to have a motive for action. The character was to move within the frame but with a purpose. This is the most important part of the project because it leads to everything else. After thinking about this assignment over and over, one day I finally got a divine insight. I realized that I needed to do something simple that several people could relate to.
The strategies I did in order to fully prepare myself for this task is read through the theme and the plot for the book and watch the movie understanding what is the story line in the movie. Discussing with my friends about is there any movie can compare with the book. At the beginning, I’m really interested about For today I am a boy this book because this story is different than the other book that I read before. After read the book I thought I can compare the book with similar movie which talking about the boy wants to be a girl or girls wants to be a boy this kind of movie after that my friend recommend the movie Karate Kid which is totally different story line movie. But when I comparing the two main characters, they both have similar points. So I start writing down the similar points and go back to watch the movie and read the book again for finding more details and points. During the conference, my theme and three points was not make any sense. Mr. Tran discuss with me and makes the new theme and new three points.
a.This assessment will be done independently by each student, but there will be learning activities done before the assessment. My rationale for having these students do the assessment independently is so I can clearly see which level on the rubric that each student is at. The lowest level reading group will come to the back table so I can read them the passage as they follow along. I will do this so they can understand the passage better to reach the learning goal of distinguishing fact and opinion. I will also bring the highest reading group to the back table, so I can explain to them their different assessment. When I can explain to these two groups in small groups, it doesn't disturb the other students and I can answer their questions clearly and directly.
Each student is handed an information card (see appendix 1.1) as the enter the classroom.
Animation is derived from the latin word animare, meaning “to give life to” (Wells, 1998). Animation is therefore the representation of life, both real and imagined. Animation “can express more than just the physical world”(Wells, 1999) therefore making it a unique way to create a documentary. Animated
It takes a lot of talent to be an animator. So much skill is involved in the process, and it can take years for people to get it right. Every piece of animation requires painstaking amounts of detail to make a quality product, especially with computer generated technology. However, there has been a recent influx of extremely gifted animators who seem to perfect the craft with relative ease. What is amazing is that many of these up-and-coming talents are still in school. If you look online, there are countless videos of student animated shorts that look so impressive that they give Pixar and DreamWorks a run for their money. In fact, many the young minds behind these shorts are hired by well-known animation studios to make blockbuster features.
The technological factors in the animation industry are not really favorable. Though there are several supportive technologies, there is constant rapid change, resulting in quickly obsolete technologies. Consequently, keeping up with the dynamism of animation technologies becomes difficult.
Animation has changed in many ways over the years. We evolved from two dimension to the high end 3D we see in today’s films. We went from the flip book with hand drawn animations to the computer animation in movies we know today. We are still changing and improving animation today and will continue to improve over the years. Many inventions that helped to make animation what we know today is the Phenakisticope. The Phenakisticope is a widespread animation device that created a illusion of fluent motion. This was one of the first fluent animation in the early years. This type of animation is very similar to a gif because it has a short duration and plays on a loop until the viewer stops it.
The technology must exist to produce the quality aesthetics for an animated film, one especially demanding such as the fully computer-animated Toy Story. One cannot function effectively without the other. The genesis of Toy Story was one only possible through the collective efforts of Lasseter’s work and the innovative Menv program, financial backing by Disney, and the friendly and engaging narrative. The cutting-edge technology of the Menv enabled the formulation of the elaborate aesthetics of animation. The masking of the innovative technology behind the friendly aesthetics alleviated possible fears of the technology for the ultimate success and enjoyment of Toy Story, marking the beginning of a fruitful career of Lasseter and success Disney-Pixar’s animated
Animation has dramatically changed since the conception of Walt Disney’s creations. Traditional methods, while still used, have mostly given way to computer-based graphic software. These types of computer-based programs allow for ambitious ideas to take shape earlier on during the concept phase of production, allowing for the creative team to make dramatic changes during the inception stages of production, saving time and money. The trend created by this software workflow, created what is known as a “hybrid” animated film. The hybrid method utilized both traditional two dimensional animation methods and computer generated imagery that seamlessly merge.
My work in Imaginea Energy Group consisted in creating animations and videos to be used in presentations and on their website and Vimeo channel. In order to achieve this task I used Illustrator and Photoshop for creating the assets needed and then, using After Effects and Premiere, I was able to produce the final result. See a sample of this work in Fig 1.
The entertainment and animations industry has been around for several decades, as early as the cave arts era. Since then, this industry has dramatically changed and has introduced new ways to watch animated films. Disney and Pixar are two huge competitors in the animation development and computer generated imagery (GCI) industry. Computer generated imagery is the process of computer graphics to create realistic images in films, TV and video games. GCI is used to refer to either the two-dimensional or three-dimensional graphics used to create scenes and special effects in films and TV. CGI takes a more realistic approach than traditional ways. The animations trend has changed from traditional, where each frame is drawn by
When the motion picture was invented in the early 1900’s, one of the earliest uses of this new medium was the cartoon. Now famous cartoons could be brought to action on the big screen. Patrons of movies were thrilled to see some of the cartoon shorts that would begin to appear. The cartoons of the movies were a fixture for many years and through the work of the Disney Studios in the late 1900’s and the continued work of animation studios such as Disney, Pixar and DreamWorks Studios have advanced the genre of animated cartoon movies to new
