We live in a big world full of social inequality. Some people have access to necessary resources such as food, clothes and receive a high income that allows them to buy goods and services, not really necessary for their survival, but just to satisfy them. On the other side, we see people without money to by needs, such as food or clothes. These poor people doesn't have access to basic sanitation which makes them ill, and as they have no money, most of the time, they end up dying.
It is not fair that some people have money left and others are missing money. In my opinion, people who have a little money left should help those who needs help, such as kids that doesn't it food appropriately and end up sick. Doctors have enough money to survive and satisfy them selves, it would wonderful to see them spending some time of their live helping these little kids to survive without asking for money. A little waste of time wouldn't make him/her homeless or even kill them. No one deserves to die starving and sick with no nutrients enough to survive or even infection gained by no basic sanitation.

It is a grateful feeling that comes when you help someone, it is the feeling that you did something for making the world a better place. If everyone who can do anything to help, do these little things, the world would be a much better place. This is my main goal for life: work as a doctor and spend the free and non free time helping people who need
Education in America is one of the most important issues that face our nation. If the education in America is not thought of one of most serious issues we face, our nation as a whole will fall. There are many debates and they seemly extend to all walks of life. The debates range from the decline in education, school vouchers, and the no child left behind law. As a nation, the United States is ranked above others. We must search for that solution to all of the pro’s and con’s in education. The solution should allow all walks of life to excel in the education realm. After all, the children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow.
It makes you feel better as a person inside to carry happiness and pass it on. It also gives you inner strength as a person to try your best.. Going an extra mile or out of you way to help someone will always give you a better feeling about yourself . It's all because you are helping with a passion to see others happy. Also Karma is true. Whatever measurements you meet the same will be added to you. This is a very powerful message that the speaker is giving to the audience. A man that does his best at helping people in his community and does not want anything in return but happiness and to see others
The greatest country in the world still has problems evenly distributing education to its youth. The articles I have read for this unit have a common theme regarding our education system. The authors illustrate to the reader about the struggles in America concerning how we obtain and education. Oppression, politics, racism, and socioeconomic status are a few examples of what is wrong with our country and its means of delivering a fair education to all Americans.
Dr. Farmer made the point that just because people are poor, they do not deserve to die. They should have the same quality of health insurance available to them. However, they don’t and because of that what is often seen is people dying all over the world from diseases that are easily preventable. Dr. Farmer also noted the cost difference for treatments in places like Haiti versus the United States.
St.Amour 1Mitchel St.AmourProfessor OlsonComp II8 February 2018The College ProblemThe investment of higher education has been debated for a long time. By today’s standards, it can either be too expensive or seem to be too high of a risk for so low of a reward. It surely doesn’t help that other alternatives can contest the outcome of higher education, but should that influence the question of: should all Americans go to college? To say that all Americans should go to college is a blanket statement; instead it should ask: Should Americans attend college? To that question, many of the same concerns arise with the price of higher education and payoff of a diploma. While the cost can be a detriment to the wallet,
Ones that are suffering from this are living in country that is still globally and economically being worked on. In other words, it's hard to plant crops in certain areas because there is no guarantee that it will grow. People suffer more from hunger than they do diseases ("CRS.). Logically it should be the other way around because of what a deadly disease like AIDS can do to you, but it's simply because they have nothing to eat. Lots of newborn babies are born unhealthy because the lack of nutrition the mothers got. It's hard to imagine that food is the major cause of deaths today.
Illnesses, epidemics, and pandemics derive from the living conditions and the social stratification of a society. Poverty tends to increase an individual’s possibility of getting sick due to deficient housing conditions, malnutrition, pressure, etc. Research supports that impoverished individuals experience higher death rates due to the insufficient medical care and nutritious food available to them. “An estimated 25 million Americans do not have enough money to feed themselves adequately and, as a result, suffer from serious nutritional deficiencies that can lead to illness and death” (Tischler 383). In effect, this contributes to the overall high mortality rates among groups of social classes. Those that live in poverty experience high levels
Advanced technology and forms of communication have changed the way we look at our nation. The current political climate and the cultural movement that is happening in our nation is going to go down in history as a revolution. A revolution where news headlines are instantaneously on our phone screens, and thanks to our advanced technology, a whole world of information is a few clicks away. However, despite these advancements in technology, the cultural change in America is often slowed down because there is a general lack of education. In America, education is the one, if not the biggest barriers that economically and institutionally suppress an overwhelming amount of the nation’s adults. Majority of adults in America do not have basic reading and writing skills yet education is still not a priority in America. There is a crucial need for education in America, now more than ever. In my opinion, the only reason for the current political climate in America is the lack of education that brings basic awareness. The solution to what we are witnessing as a nation is an education that makes individuals aware of the reality of our circumstances and allows them to see a perspective from multiple points of views. In this paper, I will present my argument on why education should be made a priority in America.
The health of many women in Algeria which is part of Sub-Saharan Africa in 1990 were impacted by the poor health care system because they lived in poverty. Poverty caused these women to lack essential needs to live a quality life. They lacked or could not afford resources such as supplies, health care professionals, and facilities for healthcare, clean water, and waste disposal. This ultimately affected the health of women and their children. For instance, lack of clean water and waste disposal facilities can cause health abnormalities such as cholera or typhoid fever which can cause devastating deaths. This is a healthcare problem because of the lack of funding. The lack of funding prevents antibiotics from being used to prevent death, and prevents African’s from being vaccinated against typhoid fever. Another example of how poverty affects woman’s health is unintended pregnancy, which is because they are more likely to engage in risky sexual behavior. It's part of the health crisis because it includes a poor health system, and a lack of education about proper nutrition and behaviors during pregnancy. Complications in these pregnancies due to poor nutrition and not visiting the doctor regularly includes increased infant mortality. Infant mortality in the slums of Nairobe is 91.3% while it is 75.9% in urban areas where there is a better developed healthcare system. The inferiority of poor Africans in
Poverty refers to the state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or means of support. Society often classifies this state as being poor. According to osomething.org 805 million people worldwide do not have enough food to eat, and nearly ½ of the world 's population lives on less than 2.50 dollars a day. Osomething.org states that 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty on less than 1.25 a day, 1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty, and 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. These statistics are rather alarming, and the first step to finding a solution to this problem is determining the root cause. Many would ask how this transpired. The answer to this is also the determining factor of not only what happened but
Since the release of the annual report by Program for International Student Assessment in December of 2010, many in the government and community are searching for ways to reform the American education system to give American students a greater opportunity to succeed. According to the report, one cannot ignore the fact that American students are not testing as high academically as other nations in the world. There are many contributing elements that have brought America to her knees in the education system, however, the obsession with standardized testing is found to be more of a stumbling block than a stepping stone in the education system. To understand how to rectify the problem, we must look at all the facts presented to us, compare
When I am at best, I help people. I motivate myself and feel motivated when I get to help others. Whether it’s a stranger, colleague, friends, or family, I feel my passion in assisting those in need. As long as it’s within my capability and moral belief that what people ask for help is ethical and legal, I give them my attention and time. I feel happy that I am able to give a hand, and I feel happy to see people become happy with the help I give them. Helping others put smiles on my face and also on them as well. I feel proud of myself that I have the power to help the
Being able to help others. You can now volunteer, donate, or help family and friends when people are in need. Helping others makes you feel good too. This is also a stress reliever.
As our world settles for more poverty more and more complications are created, starting with the increasing death rate. As families get poor, it is difficult to sustain a livable life while taking care of others. They begin to die without adequate water and food, while bringing
This means that a lot of people are not getting the stuff they need. The rates of people who don’t get enough to eat is skyrocketing. People are becoming homeless because of competition on jobs and much more. Everything is getting more expensive and some people can’t afford what they need. The website worldhunger.org tells us about how there is enough food on this earth for everyone to get a good meal. So what’s stopping us? Greediness and expensiveness.
