“Audrey come on, do you want to go watch a movie or something” Ronny asked.

“Audrey stop staring at Zach, let’s go, our shift is over.”

“Okay fine, we can go watch a movie.” Audrey says.

She locks up the shack and puts the key into her bag. The streets are dark but one flickering light shines against an old building, the sign above read; “Raven’s claw”.

“Hey is this a new shop, I’ve never noticed it before.” Audrey asks

“I don’t know, but it’s kinda freaking me out, let’s-.”

The bell of the door rang before she could finish her sentence, and Audrey was roaming around exploring the dark store.

“Hello? Is anyone there?”

“Thank you!”

“I’m going home” Ronny says walking away.

THE NEXT MORNING

Audrey slept through her alarm and is already late for work, she throws on clothes and runs out the door. When she walks to work she passes the shop again and promises herself she’ll only be in for 5 minutes.

“Hello?”

….Silence…

She tiptoes into the store to the red dress, glowing under the light. She grabs the dress and goes into the dressing room.

“Wow, it fits perfectly.” She says outloud to herself

“Hello? Who’s there? If you’re trying to steal my dress you can not! YOU MUST PAY!”

The sound of her stick gets closer and closer. All of the sudden the curtains get yanked open, a hand feeling around inside. She leaves to check the rest of the store, and Audrey runs out with the dress.

“Why are you late?” Ronny asks

“My alarm didn’t go off…”

“What’s in your bag?” Ronny asks staring at the large bag

“What? Oh nothing!”

“Okay well you missed like all of your shift so you can just go home.” Ronny says

“But but, okay.”

On the walk home Audrey keeps hearing the tapping of the women’s walking stick, and looking behind her but seeing nothing. Each time she turns around no one is there.
