WRIITEN TASK 1: SPEECH AFTER ELECTION VICTORY
Good morning respected Principal, teachers and students. I stand here in front of you all today, being bolder and more debonair than ever before. It is because you have given me power to run and be part of this school’s engine. I stand with pride as the new School Captain of this prestigious institution. You have given me strength to be as sturdy as an oak and tell everyone with panache that it is me who the entire body feels capable enough to shoulder this great task ahead.
But I want to question you about something as well. Have you chosen me for no reason? Of course not. We consider giving our precious vote only to those chosen few whom we lay full trust on. Your votes stood by my side

As we plunge into this new century, I promise to upgrade the technological aspect of the school as well, so that the daily hassles and glitches can be done away with. I promise to be as busy as a beaver throughout only at your service. I am no more Sahil Nandal, I am now your and this school’s slave.
On that note, I bid adieu this podium and stage. Enough said for today. Now time calls us to do much more in the days to come. Let me elucidate once again that I am here for each one of you since I owe my victory and this position to all of you as well. So dear all, cheers to a new beginning and hope for an even better end!
Thanks and may God bless all!

RATIONALE
I have chosen a speech as my text type since it is very intense in its tone and content. A lot can be analyzed about a speech and therefore plentiful options of scrutiny are available on the palette.
Speeches such as the one given after being triumphant in an election are always full of vigor and positive energy. This is the reason why I chose such a speech that related to the school I study in as well. The written task directly relates to Part 1 of the course being studied. The audience of the speech that has been made by using literary techniques from other famous speeches is
I am both honored and flattered to have been asked to speak for this wonderful occasion. As I started to draft this speech, I thought, “What is the world am I possibly going to say?” (The majority of you listen to me speak enough during the day.) The word SUCCESS came to mind.
Hello, my name is Susan Stewart. I am a member of the Wheatland High School Grad Night Committee. The committee is comprised of Volunteers who plan and facilitate the Safe and Sober Grad Night event for Wheatland High School graduates. Committee members are meeting with local community businesses and leaders like yourself, to ask if they would be interested in supporting an event aimed at keeping our local teens safe on such a celebratory night.
I decided to release some stress, and go meet new people from other schools. Throughout this process I learned a lot about what other states were dealing with and what students wanted out of their education systems. I had knowledge about what the North Carolina education system was going though, but I had no clue as to the depth of problems that other states were dealing with. At this point, I decided to stand up for all the students in all states and address ten thousand people during my national beta club campaign speech for secretary. As Nobel Peace prize winner Malala Yousafzai said, “I raise up my voice-not so that I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard”. I wanted to advocate for opportunities that all students in this country should have access to. I used my national campaign speech to talk about the issues, concerns, and dreams of other students throughout the United States and wanted to project all of the voices that I had listed to throughout this journey. I used my voice to advocate for others who did not have the opportunity and I am now National Beta Club Secretary. In my role as National Secretary, I will plan, operate, and preside at not only there North Carolina Conventions, but also at the

With the help from my past experience and knowledge as president, I am able to govern and lead the school more efficiently. SCCA is known by the public in a more positive way now, and that makes me proud to say that I will be graduating from SCCA. Becoming ASB president is my most proudest achievement, and I am very upset that this is my last year of high school, but I can honestly say that I’m glad I got the chance to get my high experience at SCCA. I hope that in the future when I visit SCCA, as a college student, the school will be better than it is now, and that the legacy that I’ll leave behind will be remembered
The 2016 Presidential Campaign candidate, Bernie Sanders, believes in creating a better America. In proving to the American people, rich and poor, how great the country can be if all people vote for who is trusted best as future President of the United States. The political figures in government care about money and wealth, not the people. Bernard Sanders would be the best choice for President for the main reason that he is concerned about the issues in America that create inequality for the people. The issues addressed by this candidate will create social and economic equality.
Good morning, seniors and faculty. Today, I have the honor of addressing one of the most unique, talented, and resilient classes ever to attend Newfield High School. I hope that the advice I have to offer you today will enlighten you as well as your successors. Now, since graduation is a congratulatory occasion, before I get started, there are people who must be acknowledged and to whom respect is due.
Donovan Livingstons’s Spoken Word Commencement Address at Harvard is short but powerful and proves that to inspire doesn’t need to be long or complicated it just needs to reach you on the level required. The genre that Donovan is speaking in is poetry and is a unique choice for the topic. His audience were the graduates of the 2016 class at Harvard University. He used his chosen genre and knowledge of his audience to manipulate his rhetorical situation to quickly but firmly convey his hopes and inspiration to his fellow graduates.

Thank you, for that very kind introduction, (INSERT NAME OF PERSON WHO INTRODUCED ME). And thank you, all for being here today at our graduation to celebrate our achievements and success. Most of you might know me, but for those who don’t, I am Jassnjot Kaur. I have been attending PS124 for nine years and I’m honored to speak to you today as your Valedictorian. Today is a very special and memorable day for not just me, but for all of us which includes us graduating students, our proud parents, and our pleased teachers.
Good morning class of 2019. I am Tori Cichelero, and I am running for Freshman Class President. As a president, my job would be to stabilize each and every single one of us, because we are new to the community of Ursuline Academy. I will make sure we are all involved, so we all get to be connected into the school. In order to be involved, we all have to take risk and try new things. Trying new things can be scary, but it can be so much better when you have a leader to guide you. My guidance can make us freshman the best possible class by using our intelligence, hard-work, responsibility, and kindness. When I think of Ursuline Academy, I think of how great our class is. Each classmate in front of me right now means so much to me. Your grades,
Just a few days ago, November 9th 2016 to be exact, Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. Many people wonder “How?”, I’m going to break it down with facts.
This paper will discuss mine self-evaluation and do into detail about my first speech. My first speech takes place in front of my class and I have to tell a story of an experience that has happened to me. Telling a speech was a new experience for me and I embrace the challenge. A speech can have an impact on a person life and the audience can also relate a topic that is being presented. I will explore and go into the details of ethos, pathos and logos of my speech for my personal assessment.
As I am running for a Texas House of Representative, the agendas that I have set was to consider social issues such as terrorism, health or mental sufferings and environmental degradation. My reach of contribution to the society and campaign endorsement through a celebrity figure adds up to a positive result. If my campaign becomes successful and I get elected, then the three committees that I would serve would be Criminal Jurisprudence, Human Services, and Environmental Regulation.
Thank you for your dedication to providing an excellent education system for all students in District 203. Your hard work has made the district have very high rankings and be one of the best districts in the state. As a student at Naperville Central High School, I understand that all school days are important and that they all count towards our grades. In spite of that, many Muslim students have no choice but to miss school due to an Islamic holiday called Eid. Therefore, there should be a day off on the only religious holiday that is celebrated by Muslims.
