Josephine Baker was the best of the best in Paris, but in America not so much. She went to America to make a name for herself there but racism would not let her. On her first performance in America the people did not like it. Josephine Baker could not bare the hate, so she went back to Paris. After being in America she saw how bad segregation was, so she stood up to racism. Not everyone is blessed with musical talent but when someone has an extraordinary ability, he or she should get the chance to please others with it. Sometimes a career can be made out of musical endowment, and that is what Billie Holiday did. Billie had a life that she may not have dreamed of since it started out rough with her mistreatment from adults and discouraging misfortunes, but she was ambitious and that showed through her singing career. Billie could usually adapt to her life’s problems except for her drug addiction and alcohol abuse, which unfortunately led to her demise. She was a talented woman who sang and helped create hit songs that aided her to rise to fame. Billie Holiday bravely stood up to racism, showed the world her talent, and inspired many of her beloved fans, all while continuing to be herself and not allowing the issues in her life hold her back.

I have selected Britney Spears as my subject for the reason that I realize that she has been through so much in her life and has a tendency to convey her emotions radically and live life on the edge most of the times. Moreover, I find it simply fascinating to scrutinize Britney Spears’ personality by means of the Psychoanalysis so as to offer deeper comprehension in investigating her personality. Even though this process of personality analysis is hardly ever employed today due to a deficiency of empirical verification and a disappointment to deal with any adulthood impact on personality, the approach’s stress on childhood development is a long way from without foundation. It permits for a fascinating and vibrant examination of
The traditional roles of domestic woman and adventurous man are found within Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ novel One Hundred Years of Solitude but with a slight twist in the distribution of power. The way Marquez chooses to portray female and male characters are very different from one another. This leads one to wonder why he would choose
