Furthermore Australia’s largest sector is in services whereas Indonesia’s is in industry. This could reflect the lack of tertiary education available in Indonesia as the workers will mainly be unskilled or low skilled. The GDP per capita is also drastically different and this would represent the average income in each economy, hence also reflecting the quality of life experienced.

Our overall the unit of study for writers workshop is making our writing interesting. We are also incorporating an author study of Dr. Seuss. Learning different techniques to make our writing interesting is important for young writers. Not only does it make their writing better, but it also inspires them to use their creativity. We decided to do an author study on Dr. Seuss because he has great examples of creative writing. We were able to use many of his books as examples for each of the strategies we worked on.
The Breakfast Club was an extraordinary film that dealt with teenagers in detention. Although it looked like a regular movie, it had deep meanings involved with it. The movie showcases a circle of teens who are completely different from each other. At first they didn’t interact with one another, but as the movie goes on they begin to become close friends. The Breakfast Club does a great job at exemplifying the dynamics of a group in society because there are so many associations of people who interact with each other even if the interests are completely different. The characters in the movie move from an out group to an in group because they all felt like outsiders towards each other, but as time was going on in detention they were starting to really like each other. They became an in group towards the end of the movie because they made their own grouping, which they referred to it as “The Breakfast Club”.
Indonesia had a GDP of 868.3 billion international dollars (GDP of Indonesia, 2016) and a GDP per capita of 3,475.25 international dollars in 2013 (GDP per capita, Indonesia, 2016). The GDP is primarily used to indicate an economies performance, it is measured by Y = C + I + E + G, where Y = GDP, C = Consumer Spending, I = Investment made by industry, E = Excess of Exports over Imports, G = Government Spending (Birch T, 2016). The GDP per capita is calculated by the GDP of a country, divided by the population of a country. The GDP and GDP per capita are very vital indicators of an economies progress. A rise in GDP shows that there an increase of value in an economy or there is a higher income or rise in expenditure which implies that there is a rise in the standard of living of the citizens and due to rise in income there will be a higher spending on various goods and services like healthcare, education, etc. Therefore as Australia’s GDP is higher than Indonesia’s there is an indication of higher living
One obvious difference is requirement entry into university. A school system of required entry into university in Indonesia is more complicated than other countries in Asia. All of students in high school after finishing 3 years have to pass a national exam, and they have to show high school result to entry
When you type drugs into Google, you get first, a website that tells about all the different types of drugs someone could want. Second, you get articles about how drugs are messing with everyday life. Today’s culture, people like to joke about the topic of drugs like it’s no big deal, but in reality, drugs continuously keep being a problem for Americans and keep growing into a bigger one. It is disgusting to see how many drugs are ruining so many people’s lives and making America gross while doing it. It makes one wonder, what would America be like with fewer drugs? If there were fewer drugs in America, the crime rate would decrease, there would be fewer deaths and people would live happier healthier lives. With better education on drugs, the crime rate would decrease making America better.

Indonesia complained of their lack of autonomy In regions such as Maluku or other areas of Eastern Indonesia, “a low capacity for generating local revenue restricted the ability to adapt projects and development to local conditions” (Bertrand, 198).). The scanty amounts of funds were unable to support the poor and other problems. Bertrand states, “Faced with the New Order regime introduced mild reforms that were designed to address some technical issues while avoiding political decentralization” (Bertrand, 198). In 1995 the Minister of Home Affairs selected 26 districts were used to evaluate the measures designed to increase autonomy. They noticed an increase in Indonesia budget, but they still failed to support the poor, which resulted in
Australian living standards are higher than Indonesia’s, this is a result of Australia maintaining higher economic performance through superior economic indicators. Australia’s economic indicators reflect a mature and relatively stable economic growth with a population 1/10th of Indonesia’s, in comparison, Indonesia’s economy reflects a growing developing economy. Indonesia’s economic trends are improving at a rapid rate and if this trend continues, Indonesia could have in the mid to long term superior economic growth and thus higher living standards than Australia. Particularly as Indonesia has a young population to fuel this.
Approximately 14,000 people/km2 is the population density of Jakarta. There are some areas where this number increases up to 49,368 people/km2.
Indonesia is too sudden to apply decentralized government, as the other state especially developing state need a transition phase to change their system from centralized regime to decentralized regime at that time. Owing to that, it enacts Indonesia immature in implementing the decentralization system. Therefore, the decentralization in Indonesia today is still unstructured and it gives lots of bad impacts to Indonesia. And decentralization which predicted can bring Indonesia become better is like a contradiction whereas it become a boomerang for Indonesia. As it enacts Indonesia not as good as expected or we can say Indonesia become worse than
Located between the Indian and Pacific oceans in the Southeast Asia, Indonesia ranked number four (as in 2014), as the most populous country in the world with 252,812,245 milion people (worldometers, n.d.). 13,194,000 million people alone are living in the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta (national geographic, n.d). The people of Indonesia pledged to unite and build one country, one language and one nation (Wanandi, 2002). In my research paper, I will draw Indonesia as a representation of the whole Southeast Asia region. The reason for doing so is due to Indonesia’s diverse characteristic, which I believe is very representative of the region as a whole. By analyzing President Barack Obama’s speech:
There has also been a slow decline of Indonesia’s economy and this has been going on since the past decade. I believe that if Indonesia keeps building these megachurches the citizens of the country are going to see how this is going to affect them financially. The most interesting thing i found from listening to the broadcast Megachurch Symbolizes Indonesia 's Tolerance was the fact and idea of religious tolerance that the Megachurch represented. What I also thought very interesting was that it directed its attention towards the various different aspects of beliefs and also their different interactions that it possessed. For the most part the Muslims and the Christians lived together peacefully, but the Muslims opposed the Christians to talk to their fellow Muslims about conversion.
