You cannot please everyone and you will never please everyone. So get on your feet, do your own thing, see yourself succeed just like how you dream to be and stop minding others unnecessary indiscriminate destructive blabbers. After all, it is how you believe in yourself that defines you and not others own definition of
Although, some people wish to be themselves but they care too much what others think about
Subsequently after reviewing your diabolical rant about texting "wrecking our language", I strongly disagree with your argument for multiple reasons. Initially you present your compassion for our language as you mention how the OED 'has removed the hyphen from no fewer than 16,000 words'. Your initial response to this demonstrates how unsophisticated you are as a person, in addition to how your effortlessly effected by minor issues such as hyphens resultantly being removed from the OCD .

Pleasing others is one of the hardest things that a person can do. Just when you think you’ve made someone happy, some other person will disagree with your actions. This theme is prominent in Ethan Canin’s “Star Food,” as it is seen many times throughout the story. In this short read, the author is trying to tell us not to be a people pleaser, and to let yourself decide what you want to do in the future.
do, and not to "beat myself up" for not being able to be everything to everybody.
Ahhh just saying those sentences gives me a headache. It is hard enough taking care of yourself let alone trying to impress every other person in this world. Having to live up to society and other peoples ideals of how you should be or how you should do things, its dreadful.
Migration for Mexican immigrants has not always been easy. Having to face the threat of deportation on a daily basis, the stress of acculturation, and coping with an unfamiliar territory has not intimidated nor defeated this population as they seek a better quality of life. As history would have it, the Mexican population not only makes up a large number of immigrants that live in the United States, but they have also contributed to and molded the culture that is seen in North America today (Zong & Batalova, 2016). A main element that has constantly created a roadblock for Mexican immigrants is their inability to access healthcare which has proven to have many negative outcomes on their livelihood.
Since we cannot control what other people think or say, we need to focus on what we can control. We need to not worry about what people think about us and focus on how we can better our lives and the lives of everyone around us. The Handbook of Epictetus says that when talking about uncontrollable things and objects, “And if it is about one of the things that is not up to us, be ready to say, ‘You are nothing in relation to me’” (p.12). This is saying that when something goes wrong or maybe even right for us, to not even worry about it. We do not have control of any outcome we just try our best to stay
The one thing I learned growing up was to just be myself and not worry what others may think. It’s important to stick to what you think matters. Most of all, I think people should look at the big picture, instead of trying to impress the people around
Sometimes your antics will be totally uncalled for and will cause unnecessary drama. But you have to be able to keep going and believe in the plan that you committed to. Sometimes criticism can feel like a dagger in the back and when they twist it might hurt. But if you’re willing to see through it and keep on going, eventually they’ll release the dagger and you’ll be set on your way. The next tip is to live with integrity. What you do when no one is looking really shows up when someone is watching. So you have to be filled with integrity and believe that everything is going to work out if you follow your true calling. But you have to be able to overcome this temptation by thinking of your true core values and believing in what you set out to do. Someone once said that the difference between honesty and integrity is that honesty is telling other people the truth but integrity is telling yourself the truth. Now that is something we all need to do. When you live s life of integrity, people will admire you, do believe in you, and they’ll even secretly be your fans. Keep living in integrity if you want to be the highest version of
This one is simple but I must go over it. Respect. This respect deal can make or break you. I mean the first person you should respect is yourself. Afterall the only thing you actually own is yourself. This could mean that you are in control of how you speak, think, and what you do. If you are completely aware of that then good, I’m proud. The world goes in the same pattern every year. What you put out in this world, it will come back to you. Therefore respect yourself and all those around you because from the outside we look different, but we all need the same things to be happy
However, I see in your case you were given the Strivers group as your secondary. I too believe it is vital to be yourself and enjoy the things that benefit you and not do them for the sake of pleasing others. Many times you can fall into many traps by trying to be a people pleaser because that will force you to become something you are not and the possibility of being pushed around by others. I like that you
If everyone just stopped trying to fit in constantly there would be a lot less sadness going on in the world. All in all, a person must trust themselves in order to ever gain true happiness, and stop trying to be what everyone else it trying to be. In order to do that the person must focus on self-improvement instead of improving their society around
In my personal life, I was this little girl who could stand up and totally pretend that everything would be fine, a very confident and a different girl. I could express my own feelings and just blossom around like a tree going through the spring season. I didn’t really cared what other people thought about me but as time passed and as I grew up, I started covering myself up and didn’t really liked expressing myself anymore, I wasn’t that little confident girl anymore, despite, I am now known as the quiet girl, who doesn’t really talk a lot. This happened to me because I started caring a lot about what people thought of me and knew that they would criticize me if I followed this attitude; so I just thought of
Everyone wants approval, whether it's from peers to family. We want to be accepted, to be praised. However, there is always a person not happy with you. Trying to please everyone is impossible. Trying to accommodate everyone is a route to failure. There will always be that one person going against you.
