Columbus , Cortez and Magellan accomplishes feats of adventure from the 1400s to the 1700s around the continents and countries , the impact of the european exploration was diseases , animals and food.
Diseases were very deadly and wiped out many people there were seven different types of diseases such as smallpox , influenza , typhus , measles , malaria , diphtheria and whooping cough some also died from plague but it was so deadly that some were helpless and were to sick to get food and others were to sick to help so many died from starvation and others died laying on their beds they could not move talk so if they were in pain th there was nothing they could do to get help
Food was another trade that happened
In 1492, Christopher Columbus set sail from Spain looking for a shortcut to Asia. The King and Queen of Spain put the money up for the cost of the journey. He was looking for trade goods that he could sell back in Spain, he took a Catholic priest with him to spread the word of God to the native people of the new lands. These explorations will change the world more between 1400 and 1800, trade, travel, weaponry, and ideas will result in changes that will be seen around the world.
The world is a better place because of Christopher Columbus’ important discoveries in the New World. His explorations resulted in the vast expansion of property for Europe, the exchange of goods and cultures between countries and a change in the worldview of geography. Columbus’s explorations were the catalyst for unprecedented trade known as the Columbian Exchange, which started the exchange of goods and ideas that would last for centuries and change the world forever. His discoveries unearthed new perspectives and created a mix of diverse biology between Europe and the New World. These exchanges changed the world we live in today and will continue to fuel centuries of exploration and discoveries.
During the 1490 's and 1500 's, exploration became important among Europeans, specifically the sailing to the New World. Due to the growing influx of trade networks between Europe and Asia, the idea of new goods such as spices, livestock and other resources from the New World became a large priority for trading companies. Spain and Portugal became the leaders in exploration of the New World in the 15th and 16th centuries. History has records of several explorers from Spain and Portugal who have successfully conquered and collected new resources, riches and other goods from the New World, all for the growth and goodness of their country. The plague was a catastrophic time in history, and happened more than once. It took millions and millions of people’s lives. It destroyed cities and countries, and many people suffered from it.
(Document 11). To explain, the black death, or the plague, destroyed families, and killed many. The people had no idea when they were going to die they just all of the sudden would fall down and die. The illness also seemed to be unstoppable and spread rapidly and kill anyone and everyone. With all of the destruction happening because of the black death there was lots of sadness, anger, and pain.
Throughout history many different diseases have infected the world. Such diseases consist of measles, mumps, malaria, typhus and yellow fever. Many of these diseases are caused by different things and originated in different countries.
During the plague a lot of people died. In Source B, it states, the plague spread fast because of trade. The plague went all over the place because when people were trading some people had the plague and then gave it to the people they were trading with. Once someone got it, they would get very sick. The first thing that would happen is they will get a very bad fever. Next, they would start coughing very badly. Then, they would start bleeding in the inside of their body's. After that, the blood will start going on the outside of their body's. Sooner or later they would die. In agreement
Columbus is an explorer who credited himself and Spain with the discovery of new land, which is today known as San Salvador; however, a day dedicated to a man who ‘found’ a territory that already had human inhabitants and glorifies a voyage that resulted in a mass genocide, cruelty, and slave trade should not be celebrated.
During the industrial revolution disease was abundant compared to now and that it was worse than now. Medicine changed people's lives by fighting the diseases they got or caught. Most people did not live past 50-60 year old. Smallpox killed so many people it is one of the most remembered diseases, because of how many people it killed. Some of the symptoms of it were getting bumps on you then they fill up with pus that is basicly poisonous to us and other living things.by this time black death was pretty much gone. Tuberculosis was another disease that was around and they did not have a medicine for it so it was a lot worse back then than it is now. It would make you cough up blood or puke
Two of the most influential explorers in the 1500s are Francisco Pizarro and Hernán Cortés. Both were great conquistadors from Spain and were some of the first people to explore certain areas in the “new world.” After exploring the new land that they had each found, they decided to claim it for Spain, but first they had to deal with the hostile natives that already controlled the land.
In early 16th century, European countries send out sailors to explore the world to obtain more resources, such as gold, territories, and food. Christopher Columbus is probably the most famous person when the discovery of America is being brought out. He and Cabeza de Vaca both sail to America ─called Cathay or Indies in the documents because they think they were sailing to Asia─ and meet the local people, Indian, in person. According to their diary and letters, they have some different perspectives and some similar thoughts about Native American. These literatures hold drastic impact in learning about Native American for future generations. (specifics)
Before Christopher Columbus came and found the Americas. About 14,000 years ago there was a land bridge connected by Siberia and Alaska. But due to the last ice age water levels had been increasing. This led to the land bridge going under water. Now fast forward 14,000 years later Christopher Columbus had reached as what was known as the New World in 1492. When they discovered there were many native people on this land. Native American tribes were all over the place. Well two of the biggest tribes were the Incas and the Aztec people who each had over 25 million people in their tribe.
One of the most famous explorers, Christopher Columbus, had the most impact on the Americas and explorations.
Access to health care is a recent social commodity. During the times of the Black Plague the general population did not have access to health care or the means to pay for medication of medical attention. Only individuals with wealth could afford to live with such a luxury. The rest of the general population was left to contract a horrible disease and fend for themselves. Some of the things that the Black Plague would do to the human body were most likely accompanied by immense pain. The lymph glands would swell and turn into lymph nodes, which are large and painful bumps. Also, a bacteria known as Yersinia Pestis is believed to be the cause of plague. This bacteria causes healthy tissue to slowly deteriorate and eventually die. The dead and dying tissue turns black. This side effect is what gives the disease its name.
The Middle Ages were tough times when it came to disease and medicine. There were numerous types of sickness and disease that flooded Europe during the Middle Ages. Not helping the situation, the medicinal knowledge of the people of Europe of the time was not up to par. Some of the diseases and illness that were running rampant during these times were pneumonia, leprosy, and the plague. The middle ages were a time of great suffering and death because of the abundant disease and lack of knowledge of the spread and treatments.
