When it comes to one of the all-time most popular classic desserts, I wanted to see just how different vanilla ice cream could really taste. My taste test option was finalized based on convenience and price. I chose to try Edy’s, Haagen-Dazs, and Blue Bell to determine what major differences could occur. I picked up the ice cream at a local Publix and chose to get the single serving cups for the purpose of the taste test since I am only one person, and did not need 3 gallons of vanilla ice cream! Edy’s was the cheapest, Haagen-Dazs closely following, and Blue Bell did not offer just one single serving container of vanilla, so I had to purchase a 12 count with vanilla and chocolate. Ice cream has always been my go-to comfort food and I am …show more content…
It also felt very dense and heavy. It was the firmest and most icy consistency as well. After taking off the blindfold, I discovered that Blue Bell was number one, Haagen-Dazs was number two and Edy’s was number three. Therefore, I enjoyed Edy’s Vanilla Ice Cream the most. As a secondary experiment, I decided to leave a scoop of each ice cream in a clear cup and see what happened after I left them out overnight. I used the same numbers for the cups as I did during the taste test so I could distinguish them easily. Upon returning to the cups in the morning, I was shocked at the results. The ice cream had distinguishably different reactions. The Haagen-Dazs ice cream appeared to be relatively solid at the bottom and had a layer of air bubbles on top. On the contrary, Blue Bell’s consistency was solid with a single, small air bubble on top. Edy’s comprised of an abundance of extremely small bubbles that created a light layer of foam before gradually becoming solidified towards the bottom, although the bottom still contained small bubbles unlike the other ice creams. After reviewing the nutrition charts on each ice cream, I saw that Edy’s contained the least fat content. Haagen-Dazs dominated the fat, the calories and the cholesterol categories. Conversely, Edy’s came out on top in the sugars and carbohydrates, where Haagen-Dazs had the least of the three. Nevertheless, the largest stand out was the fact that Edy’s
Breyers does not offer holiday flavors such as pumpkin pie, hot chocolate or peppermint like it’s competitor Edys, therefore taking away from their sails during the holidays. Another weakness is that Breyers does not have a yogurt ice cream option. Many women who are watching their weight are automatically drawn to the “yogurt” label because they are under the impression that is is better and healthier for them .A weakness for Breyers

- producing in Russia implies a certain adaptability of recipes since traditional Russian ice creams contain less fat and are made with natural ingredients plus one must take into account the high seasonality of consumption.
Some are fine connoisseurs of wine, or aficionados of cheese, and there are degrees for exploring their intricacies. But a childhood of ice cream has led to my refined palate of Ben and Jerry’s flavors. It began when I hated taking pictures. The only way the grumpy four-year old girl would smile was if she knew she was getting ice cream afterwards; the thought of my favorite treat always convinced me to smile.
Wendy’s Frosty Dairy Dessert was a blend of vanilla and chocolate flavors that was too thick to
Ice cream is the most popular dessert in the world. People from different places have their own myths about who invented the ice cream. It is hard to tell where or when exactly it was discovered because there is not a lot of evidence. Some people say the ancient Romans invented ice cream, others says that Marco Polo brought the discovery back to Italy from China. We most likely will never know who first discovered ice-cream or where but it is obvious that it has had a major impact on consumers worldwide. Our fascination with ice cream seems to just get stronger as technology improves. It is a part of almost all cultures in some way, which is not

For our Fishbein project, we compared two competing ice-cream brands, Ben & Jerry’s and Haagen-Dazs. Our attributes included: the availability of unique flavors, the availability of your favorite flavor of ice cream, how strong the flavors are and the creaminess of the ice cream. After surveying 40 Marist students on their opinions, we have concluded that Ben & Jerry’s is more popular than Haagen-Dazs.
Now I just kept checking the remaining containers and the cream in the cardboard cup were melting faster than the other two.
The two most common flavors of sweets are undoubtedly chocolate and vanilla. For years, people have been debating between the two attempting to conclude the ultimate flavor. Polls in which the participants choose their favorite flavor are also ways the world has decided which flavor was preferred more. Results show that vanilla had been the most desired, with chocolate following not too far behind. These two flavors have been grown and processed for the masses for centuries. However, out of the two flavors, vanilla has a more complicated natural growing and production process.
Although there are many ice cream brands competing in the market there are only some that represent a direct competition against Haagen-Dazs, one of those is Cold Stone
In The Doll’s House, both Torvald and Nora have conflicting views as to what defines a “human being”. Helmer’s definition, also the universal perspective during that era, was that women are not entitled to the same rights and privileges that men possess. Torvald expresses this belief when he looks down on woman as a whole in act one, “That is like a woman!... There can be no freedom or beauty about a home life that depends on borrowing and debt” (Ibsen 12). Torvald uses authority as his position as male to control Nora and her spendings while comparing Nora to other women labeling them as “spendthrifts” throughout the play.
This semester overall was very insightful and this class showed me that we have to broaden our way of thinking to be able to achieve a sound solution, and that means getting out of that loop of hopelessness by looking at knowledge, power, structure, agency and sound solutions from anthroholic view. Focusing our first section we started the semester with is knowledge. The case study that sticks out when I think about knowledge is our first case study that focuses on the question of who owns knowledge. When it comes to who owns knowledge we have to keep in mind what type of knowledge is available.
What if our society was different and the problem of human inequality within human society was solved? The world may be an equal place and we would not have as much conflict as we do now. The book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is about a man named Atticus Finch who is a lawyer and gets a case about a black man who that was accused of raping a white girl. This story takes place in a town called Maycomb County, Alabama during the 1930s where the country was plagued with the conflict of the Great Depression. Scout Finch, the main character and narrator, progressively grows older throughout the book and learns many things from her father, Atticus Finch and her brother Jem Finch. As Jem and Scout grow older, their viewpoints of the world changes throughout the book as they realize that society is not the same as they thought it once was. This story shows conflicts about racism, discrimination, prejudice and people’s social status. Many characters in the book such as Walter Cunningham, the Ewells and different families in Maycomb are profoundly affected by their status in their community. Their experiences are different from each other but they bespeak one thing -, the problem of human inequalities.
In the first place we have to see in general why people buy ice creams, and what value it has to them this type of product and then we have to analyze the different types of markets because the reasons will change accordingly with the type of (children or adults, for example) and product (premium or not, for example). So basically the answer to this question is that the reason why consumers buy an ice cream depend of some variable factors that I will try to explain here. Consumers just buy a product because of the value it has to them, because it satisfy a need they had and possibly they didn´t know. In the case of Ice creams, in general people buy the normal type of ice cream because of the flavor, the ice cream is competing with other
