It’s taken 17 long years to realize who I am today, that person would be a loving, caring, compassionate, smart, wild, and of course fun person. I may even have different perspectives on things then others, but that’s what makes me. I also do have to say I wouldn’t be who I was if it wasn’t for my dad, grandmother and of course my love Christian. So now, let me begin to tell you who I really am. I’ve had a dream of becoming a traveling nurse since I was 11 because I grew up around my dad being a nurse, my nana having her own business taking care of old people with mental issues. I have been really interested to learn about the human body and how to cure diseases and what meds to prescribed to someone for their problems. I have already learned some basics of the human body, what muscles are in the body an how …show more content…
I love to go out of my way to try to make someone smile even if it takes me 10 min. I’ve been through some rough patches with my family but we’ve always stuck together because honestly family is the best thing I have in my life, I may not have a mother in the picture but that doesn’t stop me from getting out of bed and doing my everyday things I like to accomplish in a day. I have seen a lot of shit and have done some bad things in my life but I never ever don’t learn from my mistakes, you’ve just got to pick up the pieces and move on always be happy and positive. I think I’m pretty into gear being a 17 year old girl who is graduating in less than a year, I already know what I wanna do after high school, what schools to go to for the education I need to become a RN. Most people now and days don’t no what they wanna do and get scared about going into the real big world. I just wanna live life to the fullest experience I possibly can like things i’ve never even imagined doing before, maybe even do something good for the world some
“Blessed Be” originates from ‘The Five Fold Kiss’, a ritual created by the found of Wicca, Gerald Gardner, as the main Initiation Rite. It is commonly done during dedication and initiation rites. The Five Fold Kiss ritual involves kissing five parts of the body and performed within a circle, each kiss given is accompanied by a blessing. “Blessed Be” is used to grant the blessings of the deity onto a person in a sacred way, asking the powers that be to invoke a person in countless religions. Like countless many, I simply assumed that the term “Blessed Be” was a form of granting blessing upon another person as we departed from one another; no different than saying “Good-bye”, but now I understand that it has a higher meaning than that.
For the Glory of God, we are created: and that we may worship Him wholeheartedly, He provides our needs on a daily basis.
Whenever I hear people say the Bible is "to confusing" to get into or they already put in their time serving God, and want to live their own life, I can't help but feel they fail to see the one simple truth: that if a person remains in God's word, they are free from whatever prison that holds them back.
Christian Science is an ongoing religious cult that was started in the early nineteenth century. Mary Baker Eddy was the original founder who started the idea in the United States during 1879. After a thirty-five year revision period, she finished the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. The textbook was finally published in 1875, which stated all the beliefs of Christian Science. Some of the beliefs include the tenets of Christian Science. Each tenet explains what a Christian Scientist believes about God, the Bible, and Jesus.
Jesus’ ministry tells about the life and teachings of Jesus. It is written in bible as stories and parables in gospels of the New Testament. The ministry of Jesus began when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, starting around AD 27-29. It ended AD 30-36 in Jerusalem following the events of the Last Supper. Early Galilean events started when Jesus had gone back to Galilee after he was baptized by John the Baptist.
There are many situations where I felt myself and others were treated unfairly; However, I’m going to share the one that struck out to me the most. Growing up, I was raised in a Christian background, specifically Methodist. Even though I respect the views of those who are not Christian, unfortunately not all Christians do that. Some Christians use their Christianity to judge those who are not living up to their expectations or those who are not righteous in their eyes. I experienced it myself because I was in a situation where other Christians were castigating me.
to me as a way to greet someone, to mean truly, to let it be done also by way of saying hello or to say goodbye to them. The term also means to me something to say during a prayer or a ritual for kindness along with respect. To me, the term Blessed Be also stands for dignity along with to honor. The term Blessed Be also means to put an end to something like the final piece. The term Blessed Be can be used in practices by if someone is performing a ritual, at the end of each part of the prayer that is said at the time of the ritual everyone should say the words Blessed Be. If someone is casting a circle there is said to be a prayer that is to be said at the time of the circle casting to honor a god or a goddess. During that circle casting, at the end
Throughout the course of history, the goal and/or objective of Gods incarnation as Jesus the Christ was for the redemption of humanity (Gal.4:4, 5). The bible tells us that He "gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity" (Titus 2:14), so that the mechanism by which our redemption is accomplish is fully understood to be by the blood of Jesus (I Peter 1:18, 19; Rev.5:9). Accordingly, the word of God tell us that as sinners we are servants to sin (John 8:34; Rom. 6:17) and that we need to be redeemed with a price; and that this price is the blood of the Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:18, 19; Rev.5:9). So I believe that in Christ "we have redemption through His blood" (Eph.1:7) and that without his blood there is no remission of

The career I plan on pursuing will be Nurse Assistant. Some people may wonder why I decided to choose Nursing Assistant so now I want to tell you why. Ever since I was a little girl I loved watching nurses do their job like in hospitals in other places. I never really actually realized how much I really wanted to end up being a Certified Nurse Assistant until I witnessed some death right in front me. I watched that person get hit and just laid there and was just dying and I was just wishing I could’ve done something to help that innocent man. And while I use to sit at the hospital with my mother I had seen how caring and proficient they were to her. All the things I’ve witnessed and being through made me open my eyes and realize the Nursing was for me and I
Over 2.4 billion people around the world believe in the Christian religion. For some it is a river of faith, but there are many branches to Christianity. Jesus Christ in Judea (present day Israel) started Christianity about 2000 years ago. Jesus was initially Jewish and he lived in an area that was under Roman rule. This Roman rules posed a big problem for the Jews due to the polytheistic cultural beliefs the Romans had. This is when Jesus Christ played a major role in the development of Christianity. Jesus traveled from village to village, teaching in the various synagogues and healing those who were suffering. This teaching was revolutionary, he challenged the already established Roman religious authorities to repent from their self-righteousness and hypocrisy and realize
Shame for being a Christian, and believing in Jesus can go two ways, it could motivate the person to do better learn more, or it could make the person go the other way. Always in the end, what one does with shame determines what happens
My Christian faith has been a cornerstone throughout my life, calming and supporting me within the trials of life. My faith has reminded me and taught me, that my achievements are not my own, rather, they are a gift from God. This is something I have often struggled with, pride controlling and limiting the growth within my life. However, through the refinement of my faith, as well as having great mentors and examples, I now understand that these gifts I have are given, are gifts, not a result of anything I have done or could do. Within the classroom, my faith aids me as it reminds me that I am called to work heartily in all areas of life, in addition to being a good steward of the abilities which God has given to me. Throughout the stressful times and the hard times I can also remember that God is going to love me no matter what, and perhaps remembering this, and keeping
I was very young when my parents are going to the church we still tend to this day and I never really had a true appreciation and complete understanding for what I was learning in Sunday school. I could easily recite 'John 3:16' or belt the words the Christian songs on the radio, however my young faith was shallow. It was nearly impossible for me to fully recognize the Lord unending love for me.
He has book sense, but he hasn't got common sense. what percentage of you have heard that asserted before? I've had folks say that about me before, and to my shame, sometimes that has been true . This refers to folks whose experience may appear to be enormous and impressive, but it's's not especially useful. They're knowledgeable in theory, but they are fools in practice.
