"Yeah, whatever," Karla says already typing away on her own iPhone.

"So lucky for us, Dr. Martin is on a date. He is only around thirty minutes out from the hospital we are taking you to. He seems very skilled and should have no problem with your injuries. He has told me that you will be staying overnight in the hospital just for precautions. The hospital is ten minutes from here without traffic, so I think we should get going. I am having a wheelchair brought to you now," Karla tells me.

"Wonderful," I say. I don 't have to worry about Chloe and my mom getting home and not seeing me at the house because the meetings is two days, and that 's if they don 't stay longer.

Knowing that all the details have been worked out and for the most part everything will be okay. I finally start to calm down. The adrenaline that has been coursing through my body begins to dissipate and I start to become very tired.

My eyes had just fluttered shut when suddenly I 'm being shaken. "Sorry, I don 't know the rules for concussions, but I don 't want to do anything wrong so just please stay awake," Karla say.

So eventually the wheelchair comes for me and I 'm pushed to some expensive car and the drive to the hospital begins. I am forced to stay awake throughout the ride, much to my dismay.

The car ride is less awkward than I thought it would be. Karla is actually pretty nice apart from her answering and screaming into the phone every once in awhile.
