There are soldiers that are fighting for the protection of their families and there are many families that are doing anything in their power to stay safe through the chaos. Yet a number of the individuals involved in the conflict have a tendency to try and escape the madness. In spite of the madness, some children have the advantage to escape yet they are equally impacted with long term trauma by the war as those who did not have the opportunity to depart.
Chapter one in the book, Human Geography, gives a timeline of the changes that have occurred since the creation of planet Earth. The author, John Rennie Short, explained how truly powerful the earth itself is. It has the ability to wipe out humanity. We often blame nature when natural disasters happen, but perhaps the human race may have something to do with the cause of environmental hazards like volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, and earthquakes.
The phrase became traditional in the follow-up of Serbian assaults on ethnic Bosnians during the Bosnian War. The crusade of the Bosnian War in 1992 lead the bigotry to a global dispute, as the Croats enforced ethnic cleansing protocols against the Muslim Bosnians. A number of genocides in 1994 and 1995 supported the continued entanglement of NATO air strikes in both applying a no fly zone and establishing the Serbian air force. United Nations arbitrators on the ground missed the opportunity to fix up the situation earlier. A heavy occupation force enforcing the end of the conflict brought 60,000 troops to the area. These crisis represents a criterion within the discussion about military force to avert a massive ethnic cleansing.
My opinion is that Serbia had the right to do the war but also 16 million people died that will make less pollution in the world and they could just make a small war between Serbia and Austro-Hungary and everything will be back again or from the begging Austro-Hungary did not kill Sophie.
Bosnia is a country in south-eastern Europe that emerged after the break-up of Yugoslavia in 1980. The conflict between the three main ethnic groups in Bosnia, the Serbs, Croats, and Muslims, resulted in genocide committed by the Serbs against the Muslims in this country.
The Bosnian Genocide was the worst act of mass killings since the Nazis destruction of 6 million Jews. It resulted in a 100,000 deaths of both mostly Bosniak Muslims and Croatians. The horrific events that took place in Bosnia are currently shown in the Middle East today through dehumanization, nationalism and imperialism. These factors are what make the Bosnian Genocide recurrent for Muslims in history.
There are many similarities between the borders of the New Europe and Eastern European border regions and the United States Mexican border. One of the biggest similarities is the difference in income between the eastern and Western Europe. Much like many areas south of the United States many migrated to the United States for better paying jobs and better living. Additionally, due to the amount of violence south of the border with the drug cartels, gangs, and federal police, many conscious of the violence which is all around many. While within Western Europe migration from Eastern Europe is now due mostly to higher income. However, during the 1990’s there was a large migration from the Balkans due to civil war in the former Yugoslavia.
Genocide is the systematic annihilation of a group (“Bosnia”). Many have lost their entire families, including children, belongings, and opportunities. The Bosnian genocide is a tragic event that led to the death of 8,000 men and boys. Bosnia's current population is 3.8 million with a 48 percent of Bosnian muslims, 14 percent of Croats, and a 37 percent of Serbs. Those responsible for the genocide focused on what they deemed as “ethnic cleansing”. It is important to share this horrific event with the world, so it does not happen again, as it has occured in so many other nations.

Nathaniel Hawthorne’s introduction to “The Scarlet Letter”, The Custom House introduces the reader to the narrator who bears a likeness to Hawthorne himself. Similarities between the two include their occupation in the custom house, being descendants of Puritans, having an interest in writing, and also being native to Salem. The narrator in the introduction describes the custom house, his work there, the employees, writing in general, but the most significant event in this introduction was his discovery of an unusual package, the contents in it being the scarlet letter an “A”, and records that date back to the seventeenth century in the Puritan community. After being dismissed from his job the narrator felt compelled to write about this discovery. Bringing the commencement of the tale, the first
“Niqab” is not ancient “traditional dress in most Muslim countries, but is a fairly recent innovation. Niqab is not mandated in the Quran; it arose later as a Muslim custom. Niqab have been banned in several Muslim countries or places in the Muslim world. There is nothing in Qu’rem supporting niqab, it is a Wahhabi affectation that speaks more of their attempt to dominate all Muslims than it does adherence to the will of god (Allah).

P4) Review factors that have contributed to one declining destination (Cyprus) and one developing (Greece) in the European travel market.
Its spectacular tourist sites, captivating entertainment, and unusual public culture lend a complexity and mystique to the region. Although the growth rate of Greece’s GDP has been negative for years, the government is beginning to take action. Hopefully, it will prove beneficial to the general populace. Since the exquisite beauty of the country is indisputable, and the intrinsic cultural interest of its society and history is unquestionable, perhaps a greater understanding and promulgation of what Greece can offer to tourists would improve its profits in that area. It should never be forgotten how much of an impact this diminutive country has had on shaping world thought and ideas. The Hellenic Republic stands alone as a pinnacle of historic, cultural, and artistic achievement, a literal turning point in the history of the world.
Serbia feels a cultural tie to Kosovo because it has many monasteries, churches, and religious sites that are significant to the orthodox Christian faith, which is the main religion for Serbs (Malcolm). The Serbian claim conflicts with the Albanian majority who believes they have a claim to Kosovo because of they are the largest group. Throughout history Kosovo has been profitable because it have many natural resources, such as metals like nickel, and it is known for its abundance of silver, which has caused conflict because many countries have wanted to claim it. During World War Two, Hitler used the mines in Kosovo for profit (Malcolm). Mostly, Kosovo has been coveted because it is in a good location with many mountains guarding it and has always been a checkpoint for many trade routes, which made it prone to conquests. Conflict can always be understood through history, and Kosovo’s strategic location is one main reason for the fighting.
