The manager will need to ensure that they have the correct level of rapport with their employee. Too familiar in nature may be misconstrued as forward and harassing in the wrong context. However no personal rapport whatsoever may provide the receiver of the information with the impression that the sender of the information is just not interested. A fine line must be weighed up for each individual. When a good rapport has been achieved, then the person will uncritically accept suggestion or advice which they are given.

One of the distinguishing features of cystic fibrosis is the thick mucus that lines both the airways and the intestinal tract of affected individuals. In the respiratory tract, this thick mucus is not removed by the cilia that usually beat and push mucus up into the throat. This thick mucus builds up in the airways, and bacteria trapped in the mucus are not removed. Thus bacterial respiratory infections are extremely common.

This questionnaire will utilize close-ended questions for several reasons. The close-ended questions enable pre-set answers which allows for greater ease of coding and analyzation of answers while simultaneously taking away any opportunity for unnecessary or undesired answers to questions. It also adds to higher incidences of participation in the study because the respondent will not have to take vast amounts of time to respond to short-answer questions which can be daunting for those who have difficulty reading or writing which is important in regards to seniors who may have difficulty reading due to poor eyesight or may have problems holding a pen or pencil due to arthritis.

In my PLTW Aerospace Engineering class, we decided to design and build our own RC airplane, and I was chosen to be a project manager for our class of five students. My job is to assign tasks to everyone, including myself and make sure each person is working and doing the task correctly. I take into account each person’s skills when I assign tasks. For example, I had one student keep track of the money we used based on his knowledge he acquired from taking an accounting class. I had two students, who excel in writing, write proposals for funding, and I assigned the last student to order parts based on his knowledge of the parts used and the parts that we needed. I also lead discussions where we collaborated to come up with a design or to solve

There are several reasons I feel I would be a quality candidate for this position. My past personal experience included being a military wife for 23 years. It allowed me to travel and experience a variety of cultures but more importantly it taught me how to adapt. Moving every few years has given me invaluable lifetime experience, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. As a volunteer Girl Scout leader/Service Unit Manager, I was a dedicated team player and learned to remain calm and gracious under pressure while dealing with large groups of children and adults. As a PTA president I collaborated with school staff, administration, and coordinated school events all requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
