I think dog parks are a good idea. Dogs need alot of exercise and play time. Many cites and urban areas just dont have the room for that to happen. But there are optoins there many open unused lots, and empty building that could be torn down to create these places. I am a dog owner myself i live in the country were open space is abundant. My dog Neno can run a play all he wants it's good for his health and mental state. When he doesn't get out he gets cranky and chews thing around the house. To many complications will come from a dog park. Such as situations like a dog attacking another dog or even attacking someone else. This can cause a lot of upset owners. Also many painful court cases. Dog parks will bring up a lot of legal issues that we don't need.

In this large populated area, the on going noise of barking dogs and yelling owners can become a bit annoying. This is essential for those that enjoy the peace and quiet of their community. Therefore, building a dog park in a more isolated area, would be more ideal.

Dogs should have their own parks,because when dogs aren't getting the physical and mental excercise that they need, their behavior tend to get worse. I fully support the idea of building a dog park. As many cities have leash laws which keep the dogs from getting the excersize and socialization they need. When a dog does not get the space and socialization it needs, its behavior can waver. Dogs can become agressive as stated in the passage, "A Dog Park Benefits All". Therefore getting a dog park would keep dog related injuries on the lower end of the spectrum.

I believe most if not all cities should have a public dog park. Since I was nine years old I have always owned a dog. I have lived the city all of my life as well. Living in the city there is many apartment buildings with little to no yard space. To keep a healthy and friendly dog the dog needs exercise and play dates. Because most pet owners in the city have no yard space for these activities. a public dog park is the perfect solution.

Dog parks benifit the community. While some may not see the benifit in building a dog park, it brings several positive affects for dog and none dog owners. Some benifits to having a dog park in the comunity include; safer conditions for the people in this comunity that may be in contact with local dogs, increases in perspective home owners as well as an increase in property demand in area's near dog parks.

A dog park is a fenced in place for dogs to play, get exercise, and make friends. The community needs one, so there’s a place for owners and dogs can go.

I personally do not think public dog parks should be built in cities. The setting, to begin with, is not ideal. You wouldn’t move into the city with young children and expect to have large yardspace. So, why do dog owners feel entitled to a public park, which the taxpayers have to pay for? This project is not a necessity to spend more than $70,000 on either. And, the excess noise a park would cause could disturb many. Put yourself in the situation of being unable to work or sleep, it wouldn’t be fun.

Many people, including myself, agree with the idea of dog parks. There are so many issues that can and will be fixed with the addition of an extra space for dogs to roam free without fear of being hurt. this topic can be touchy for those who do not own dogs and those who will not support something that does not benefit them. I will explain my arguments in the following paragraphs.
