Today, i’m going to tell you about both governments the governments are democracy and I will give you a lot of information so maybe you know maybe you don’t they are both better so maybe you might enjoy it because I will tell how the got voted, How they got in charge,How long do they remain in charge, How laws are enforced, How are they equally treated, Do people have a voice in the government, And what countries are there. Democracy, has someone in charge and the democracy is in america so our person would be the president here so we had to vote for the president to be in charge of america but only for a couple of years for how long they remain in charge is until they quit, get voted not to be it or they die but most of them quit and some …show more content…
They get in charge from the bloodline. The longest they remain in charge is until they are dead because i don’t think they can quit. their laws are not made by the president their the king, queen, or empire when they get chosen then they get to make the laws and sometimes there laws don’t go well. They all aren’t treated equally they don’t have the same laws as democracy does. In the monarchy they really don’t have a voice because they really just pick who is able to be in charge of the country the countries there are Korea, and japan. The pros and cons are for democracy i know that it would be a better choice because the democracy has safe rules that can’t hurt anyone. Also we have someone to governor our country and it is safe but in the monarchy they don’t have good rules and people can kill anytime they want there. So that is why you wouldn’t want to go there. I would at least try to live in the democracy because it is a better place. So i know to believe that if you live in democracy and you know it is a safe place. But if you live in monarchy you need to come here but it is a choice of where people want to live in the united
The word democracy comes from two Greek words: demos, meaning "the people," and kratein, meaning "to rule." These two words are joined together to form a democracy, literally meaning "rule by the people". Nowadays democracy could be referred as a rule of the majority. It is a system of government in which the citizens exercise power directly or choose delegates from among themselves to form a governing body, such as a parliament. The Greek system of government was maybe more like a true democracy or administered by the general population than any other ever. On the other hand, most American politicians with mindfulness and knowledge have realized that the U.S. is not a Democracy as a country, regardless of the way that most people declare it to be a Democracy. Greek and American democracy have some similarities such as the amount of nationalism and patriotism saw in the people when a lack of representation for a city-state or nation as a whole is seen, and they both vote for their political leaders.
The democratic government, is a lot more open to any problems and challenges happening, and is probably going to notice the overthrow coming. The democracy, is also a lot more organized, having three branches: the judiciary, executive, and legislative, each with the same amount of ruling power. “The monarchs are the supreme judicator, legislator and executor and though they are assisted by their advisors, it will still be them who have the final say in things. This is unlike politicians who share their power with any others and who worry about the way electors perceive them.”
People talk about the United States being a democracy, but what exactly is a democracy? A democracy is basically power that is given to the people and is used
Democracy, as a form of government, is the idea of spreading political power to the people, while still supporting the “common man” rule. The idea behind democracy is to unify the people, and allow common citizens to have a say in their government. This idea erupted after the Jeffersonian era came to a close in 1800, the Jeffersonian era changed how exclusive America should now be. Andrew Jackson specifically played a major role in shifting America from a two party government, known as the articles of confederation to a democracy. In 1824 the Democratic Party had split into Jacksonian Democrats and Nationalist-Republicans, the split of parties allowed Andrew Jackson to fully share ideas, through his own democratic party. When the newly elected
Democracy is the idea government of present day. Many nations are converting to a democratic image to improve and better their society and make the people have a “fair” government. Today, it may seem easy to do things such as voting and our own freedom, but the expansion of democracy back then was a struggle. During 1776- 1920, many attempts were made to expand/ create democracy to increase citizen participation in the government. Acts for rights for suffrage, equal rights for the “lower class”, women, and African Americans, and balanced government where no one directly controls the government like the monopolists did, helped form the way democratic governments are run today. Events such as the Civil War, protests that created amendments and
First, a democracy is a form of government in which the supreme power is handed to the people
A democracy is a system of government by the majority of the population or all the eligible members of a state, which is mainly through elected representatives. Citizens or elect representatives have the power to take it upon themselves to from a governing body, such as a parliament. Democracy is not working as originally intended. In the past, women, African Americans, and Native Americans could not vote, only white males could. The president was actually supposed to be chosen by men of the Electoral College, which is the people representing the states of the US, who formally cast votes for the election of the president and vice president. Not by the Electoral College approving the will of the people. Senators were supposed to be appointed

A democracy is really a form of republic known as a democratic republic. A republic is a government where officials elected by a small group of people that make the important decisions.
With every Presidential election, the United States’ electoral college takes place. The electoral college has been around for about 200 years and it is still going strong with its intended purpose. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Democracy is defined as a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections. This definition is accurate in the way that supreme power is held by the people but also that there are two forms, direct and indirect. Direct democracy is a system of government in which members of the polity, or political organization, meet to discuss all policy decisions and then agree to abide. This is also is called true democracy. In the form everyone is equal and their votes would count. So by voting, they will be able to voice their opinion and majority rule is the majority of the people, all 320 millions people in the United States of America.

Recently, there have been many issues and problems forming in America. The majority of the complications are the result of the U.S. government, which is a democracy. Another kind of government that has been around for thousands of years is an absolute monarchy, which is where one ruler has all the power. It is often debated which system is more effective. A monarch’s authority to govern should be absolute because the interest of the state must come first, there is a simple law process, and being feared is better than being loved.
Republic is a form of government ruled by law. Democracy is a form of government ruled by the majority. Republic results in through the election by public officials. Democracy results in through mass meeting. Democracy maintains their power candidates must accept an increasing tax. Republic is a government of law under a Constitution. The Constitution holds the government in check and prevents the majority from violating the rights of the individual. Republic required approval from the three branches of government, the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches for checks and balance. Democracy requires approval from the majority by
The king or queen is the leader of a constitutional monarchy. In this type of monarchy, the king or queen can do whatever he or she pleases as long as it is within the boundaries of the constitution and parliament agrees with it. They usually get their position by family ties, but they can also be elected. Once the leader in the position, they are in it for life and cannot be removed. In the United Kingdom and Japan, they actually
Finally, democracy is the best form of government thus far because it is susceptible to change. The role of high courts, and equal rights makes change possible. For example, if the majority impedes on a minority groups’ rights, over time, the legislature will adjust, enumerating those who were previously attacked. Overall, democracy makes the necessary refinements needed to keep up with societal developments.
The way that a country is controlled by the government depends on the relationship between the legislative and executive authority. Most democratic nations, today, generally use one of two governmental systems, either a parliamentary system or a presidential system. Today most of Europe prefers to use a parliamentary system, whereas the presidential form of government is preferred in places such as South Korea, South America and the United States. The differences between these two governmental systems are not obvious at first, but there are some key differences. However, neither one of them is necessarily superior to the other.
