Tiger Woods once said, “golf is fluid”. It’s always changing. It’s always evolving, and it’s always changing. First of all, you never master it.” Golf is advancing every day. For a sport that was once made for purely entertainment, it has come a long way to now, with current professional tournaments and competitive gameplay. Golf has also advanced more than just in how it is played and by who, it has drastically changed in technology as well. Golf is a sport that was created early on and has advanced exceedingly throughout the years with the involvement of technology in golf clubs and golf carts. Outside of his many techniques he was extremely successful throughout his career, shown by his six Open Championships, forty-nine professional wins, and seven major Championships. When he reached the age of sixty-seven he passed away and left behind a major legacy in this world. Although golf has stayed the same for around the first three hundred years, many improvements have changed golf forever. In 1750, the first golf clubs began being made out of iron rather than wood. After a long one hundred twenty years, in 1870, the iron golf club head began to be mass produced making them more consistent and lighter than before.
