In “Death of a Salesman” by Arthur Miller, Willy Loman doesn’t lose faith in what he does and you can’t ask someone if they want a job when you know they got one. Willy isn’t really successful; but he loves what he is doing and knows a lot about it. He does a lot of foreshadowing in the book by saying “a person is worth more dead than alive “and in just that one quote you can see that Willy feels worthless. That of course leads to him committing suicide. Willy tells Charley that he doesn’t have any friends it’s just him. When Willy says that he just knows how embarrassing that must be for him and Charley. Charley gives Willy some money for insurance, Willy was mad because he got fired from Howard.
