How Does Beowulf Compare And Contrast

The poem and movie had many key differences but also had a plethora of subtle changes that people probably didn't notice. One major difference I noticed was that the queen played a bit more of an important role in the movie, If I can recall correctly she spoke maybe a few words and that was it. To me that seems more like a demon that a mossy tree man. Beowulf seemed to be the same, described as a large man portrayed as a large muscular man however again we're brought back to grendel during the battle sequence, they were all partying during the sequence where Unferth questions Beowulf's ability and true intentions and Beowulf shuts him down by speaking about the sea monsters. And then they all leave and Beowulf and his men stay behind during this entire sequence beowulf is completely naked which has no real reason it's completely unnecessary. However they right this off as him using his real weapons
