Friar acknowledges how desperate Romeo is and also how immature he is. Tybalt also always wanted to fight, and was the most aggressive person. Like I said earlier, Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo, but Romeo refused, he also was the aggressor in the first fight that got them warned by the Prince.
Another character that is to be blamed for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin. Looking at the events leading up their deaths, Tybalt has always been their progressing the problem, rather than attempting to make things better. Tybalt instantly wanted to get revenge on Romeo, after Romeo showed up uninvited to the Capulet’s party, despite Lord Capulet assuring him it was fine. The quote, “This, by his voice, should be a Montague.- Fetch me my rapier boy,... to strike him dead I hold it not a sin” from Act 1, Scene 5 shows that Tybalt was planning to battle Romeo. Tybalt came to fight Romeo, but Romeo, who had just secretly married Juliet, did not want to, as they were now family.

Tybalt is not the ultimate cause of Romeo and Juliet’s death.
Tybalt ends up killing Mercutio, which makes Romeo defend him and fight Tybalt. Romeo kills Tybalt, which leads to him being banished from the city. Friar Laurence then creates a plan that was to have Juliet fake her death, but the plan goes wrong causing Romeo and Juliet to kill themselves. Secondly, the Montagues and Capulets are also responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. One main reason is that the two families were involved in a feud.
Another reason why Tybalt is the cause of his own death is that he starts the fight with Romeo. “Romeo, the love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain.”-Tybalt (3.1.56-57). When Tybalt says this he insults Romeo by saying he is nothing more than a villian.
Romeo is more of the lover boy while Juliet is a wise thinker. In Act 3, emotion prevails despite Romeo and Mercutio’s logical arguments because the logical ending to the situation would be that Romeo and Mercutio walk away without fighting Tybalt, but Mercutio’s emotions get the best of him and he starts fighting Tybalt, resulting in his death. In Act 3 Scene 1, Romeo, Mercutio, Tybalt, and some of Tybalt’s men are in the town square and Tybalt is arguing with Romeo because he is still bad about Romeo being at the party. In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, every character-whether major or minor- has an important role in the play and affected how the tragedy ensued, yet some characters had a greater impact than others. With that being said, Tybalt is most responsible for the tragedy of the play because he intentionally wanted to start trouble and his destructive actions and behaviors toward others were never for anyone’s benefit. An example of Tybalt’s destructive behavior is seen in the beginning of the play when Romeo was seen at the Capulet party. When Tybalt caught sight/ heard the voice of Romeo, he immediately told a page to fetch him his sword and said to himself, “What, dares the slave come hither covered with an antic face to fleer and scorn

Which he tells him that he loves him all the fighting isn’t needed. Romeo was trying to get Mercutio and Tybalt to put down their swords until Tybalt strikes Mercutio under Romeo's arm, hitting him in the right spot just to kill him. Romeo then kills Tybalt and has to leave Verona because if the Prince finds Romeo inside Verona walls he’s going to kill him (3.1.193-196).

Juliet decides to go with him without anyone else know. So she takes a drug that friar Laurence gave her to fake her death. Romeo finds out that she is dead and goes to see her dead body. Romeo goes into the tomb and kills himself next to her. When she wakes up, she sees Romeos dead body and decides to kill herself.
