Osama bin Laden's early life was marked by a series of influences that would shape his worldview toward radicalism. (PBS) As Osama grew up, he was influenced by the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan in 1979. He fought alongside mujahideen fighters against the Soviet occupation, which was supported by the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. After his first visit to Afghanistan during the first few weeks of the Soviet Invasion, he became involved in supporting the mujahdeen, a ruling party in Afghanistan at the time. After this point, he became heavily involved in fighting jihad, or holy war, and began to build up his own military training camps (Frontline: A biography). Beginning in his childhood, Osama was inundated with a strict Islamic way of life. Looking at the people who played the biggest roles in his life at this time: his authoritarian father, Islamic scholars, movement leaders, and Afghani soldiers fighting jihad, the reasons for him being who he is become more apparent. He has been fighting holy wars since he was a teenager (Frontline: Edicts), and jihad has become a way of life for him.

The network of terrorist is powerful and still growing in the amount of their supporters. Al Qaeda is a global threat because of their large quantity of global supporters, financial position, and access to weapons and
Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden was a Saudi Arabian that came from a very wealthy family. He was born the seventeenth child out of fifty-two to the family of billionaire Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden in Saudi Arabia. From an early age he was somewhat obsessed with religion and politics. During his time in school he was devoting more of his time and money to advance Islam and Islamism. While Bin Laden was studying at a university in 1979 he decided to join the Mujahedeen military in Pakistan that was combating Soviet Union forces in Afghanistan. Bin Laden gained popularity by assisting the Mujahedeen in finances, personnel recruitment, and arms supply. After the war he moved to Afghanistan and declared war on the United States. It was he who founded the Al-Qaeda, which was the group that masterminded the September 11 attacks on the United States, along other numerous terror attacks around the world. From 2001 till his death in 2011, bin Laden was the number one target of the war on terror with a $25-million-dollar bounty placed on his head by the FBI. He was eventually shot and killed in a compound in
His father was of the working class but would progressively make more money and become fairly successful multi-millionaire after creating a construction company. His parents would go on to get divorced and he would go on to live with his mother and her new husband. At a young age, Osama was recognized as a brilliant but also timid student. He went to school at a prestigious academy in Jeddah and would study the Qur’an strictly. This would build a strong foundation for his Islamic beliefs.
As Muhammad got older, he became known as a very trust-worthy, noble and kind man. When Muhammad was twenty-five years old, he became a trading agent for a wealthy, noble lady by the name of Khadija. Khadija was so
The person I have found particularly compelling was Dick. Dick is disturbing but appealing. The way he carries himself with the murder made me feel disturb. He didn’t really care about what he did or have any sympathize towards the murder. But when Dick started to talk about his past, is what made me feel appealing to Dick.
American officials believe Osama was the reason for several terrible acts of terrorism that had the outcome of death, on that list is the 1998 bombings of the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and the 9/11 attacks on the Pentagon and the twin towers. He was on the FBI’s “most wanted” list for more than 10 years. Osama bin Laden was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1957 or 1958. Young Osama had a privileged, cosseted upbringing. Although bin Laden was an inspirational leader, Al Qaeda is a religious, separatist organization whose ideology resonates within a wide group of people in the Middle East. Bin Laden’s spiritual teachings brought in members, but he was not their prime-recruiting tool. If Al Qaeda had revolved entirely around bin Laden’s personal logic and ideals it would have collapsed with him, but because of their broad ideology Al Qaeda, has been able to stay strong.
Osama bin Laden is a world-renown man. He is known by some as a polite, generous person to look up to. To most, he is the man who was behind arguably the most traumatizing terrorist attack the world has ever seen, the head power of the menacing Taliban Islamic extremist group, and, at one time, the most sought after criminal on the planet. Bin Laden was raised a very religious man and this led to his extreme beliefs of the immorality of the western world. As his life progressed, his views turned into action. Bin Laden was a powerful man who was always taken seriously, especially by his enemies. From birth to death, Osama
It is very agreeable to say that Osama Bin Laden was the CEO of all CEO when it came to managing his terrorist people (Hoffman 1999, 2). Considering his enormous success his influence among them was boundless. He could easily have been the “face” for western terror. What he was able to accomplish was quite an accomplishment, and until today the western world, specifically America, continue to be in great danger because of his success. I believe he had incomparable attributes. We all know that he fought for the preservation of all Muslim nations by defying Western influence because he believed that any Western influence is corrupting Islam, and that any American should be ousted out of the holy land. This is a Muslim duty. We also know that Muslims believe

To begin, Osama was an astounding film. After watching Osama, I’ve learned innumerable amounts of information about Afghanistan. Before, I used to think that Afghanistan was completely inundated with terrorists and terrorist recruiters. I used to be petrified being around a person from Afghanistan due to my massive fear of people from Afghanistan. However, after watching this inspiring film Osama that was made in the early 2000s, I learned that people in Afghanistan are not all bad.
The word “blame” is the assigned responsibility for a fault or wrongdoing. People may resort to blame as it is commonly a natural defense mechanism, it tends to be easier to blame someone else then build up the ability to take hold of the responsibility for something that we are not willing to. The concept of blame is most definitely played with throughout the play of Romeo and Juliet - as there seems to be several acts that led them to their ultimate deaths. It can be mostly agreed that there were two main factors that contributed to the deaths of both Romeo and Juliet - which had been the influence of the nurse and the horrendous atmosphere in which Juliet lives in. A quintessential factor that should be taken into consideration and to be
The effect that bin Laden's death has had on the United States efforts to combat terrorism has been significant. As the leader of al-Qaida, bin Laden declared war on the United States in the 1990's and was behind the attacks on the USS Cole, Kenya, Tanzania, the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon as well as the attacks in London. Afer 9/11 President George W. Bush stated that the U.S. would bring justice to bin Laden dead, or alive (The Impact of). President Obama did exactly that; by the killing of bin Laden, it displayed that even in Pakistan there is no guarantee of safety.
