How Did Martin Luther King Impact Society

King makes the reader feel the frustration of those moments when his community was told to wait for a better, more convenient time. He makes the reader feel the sorrow of the moments when his daughter asks to go to a park but they are not allowed because it is for whites only, or when his son asks why they are treated different for their skin color. He makes a person feel the horror that must have been felt watching families get hurt or killed by angry mobs or policemen. It is through this use of pathos that King continues to inspire humanity to do better.

One thing that has impact the world was martin luther king's speech.There is several reasons i think he had a huge impact on the world. He was the reason we get along with blacks. He's the one that didn't want to be mistreated because he's black.

and his speech, “ I Have A Dream”, he help take a big step in breaking the racial barrier. In his speech, King talks about how everyone should be treated equally despite their race or how he states it, the color of their skin. Then the famous part “I have a dream…”, in these segment he states of different ways he dreamed on how Black and Whites would get along peacefully in the future. Not only is it his most famous speech but it is important to the history of the United States. Without it racism wouldn't be close to being over.

The I Have a Dream speech was able to cultivate people around the country. Dr. King used persuasive and strong words, or pathos, to preach his beliefs on segregation in the United States. ¨Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!¨ (King,264). To begin, Martin Luther King Jr. was an African American rights activist and an impressive preacher. One day during a peaceful protest, he was arrested and sent to the Birmingham Jail. In jail, he wrote a detailed, metaphoric letter to the clergy men, speaking about the recent racism problems and how to fix it. He wrote page after page of issues, using several examples and many iconic phrases from history. Martin Luther King Jr. was not an uneducated fool, as many seen him. He knew that if he used ethos, pathos, and logos, he would get many people on his side, consisting his notable character known by the church, his ability to evoke sympathy, and his logical way to present this problem.

King uses is pathos. The use of pathos in his speech influenced his audience towards their emotions. Throughout his speech, Dr. King uses and repeats the phrase “I Have a Dream.” The repetition of this phrase gave his audience a sense of hope and optimism. He constantly showed sympathy to those who have experienced racial inequality.

Andrew Young once said, “There's no problem on the planet that can't be solved without violence. That's the lesson of the civil rights movement.” This era was full of injustice towards colored people of America. The Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s was when colored people fought for their rights in various ways. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X were two civil rights leaders who had incredibly different techniques in achieving these goals. Dr. King’s philosophy included using non-violent approaches to gain rights for blacks; Malcolm X’s beliefs were for colored people to make their own communities and protect themselves by “any means necessary”. Martin Luther King Jr was a famous civil rights activist that greatly impacted the civil rights movement. Born on January 15,1929, Martin Luther King was involved with the Christian faith at a very young age. King attended Booker T. Washington High school where he skipped two grades and moved towards college. At college, Martin Luther King renewed his spiritual faith and after many years of studying the Bible and doctrine, he became the pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church. From then on, Martin Luther King participated in the Montgomery Bus Boycott and because a leader of the civil rights movement.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a large aid to the civil rights movement, yet he was not the only one that made large changes to the government during the civil rights movement.

Like Gandhi once wrote "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the brave men to do something about segregation, and getting civil rights. Along with Dr. King was the other blacks that helped and marched with him in a non violent manner. Dr.King never wanted to hurt anyone through violence. All he wanted was to get his point out across the world, and allow all blacks to finally have freedom and rights.

When I was looking back at the civil right movement, Martin Luther King Jr was probably one of the best leaders that they could of had ever. He is one of the biggest influences in society today.

Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. had a huge impact in America. They were both fighting for African Americans civil rights as well as rights for other ethnicities, to be treated equally, and granted with same rights and with the same respect and morals they deserved. Even though both Americans faced complicated hardships during their childhood they managed to put them aside and fought for their community until the end, which ended up taking their lives away.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. demonstrated moral courage by standing up for equal rights for black people. Martin Luther King is interesting to me because he used unwavering faith in Jesus combined with nonviolent protest to transform America from segregated to equality for all. Martin Luther King stood for nonviolence but during his short life he was stabbed, jailed, bombed, and assassinated but it was all for his cause of equality. America would be a very different place today if there weren't for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a big influence to stop segregation. We honor him in January with a national holiday. When he was young, he experienced many issues with society. This changed the man he would become. He had many personal experiences, role models, and a strong education that shaped his beliefs and actions as an adult.

If you had a different skin color, would you discriminate others? Based upon modern society, skin color has been an obstacle that has caused discrimination for years. Martin Luther King Jr has positively benefitted modern society by not discriminating one another for our differences and creating a world wide perfect vision of how the world should be between one another.
