Adolf Hitler was one of the most influential people in the interwar era. His actions during the interwar era caused World War II, which had enormous impacts on almost every country in the world. There are three reasons why he gained so much influence in Germany. First of all people were disappointed in the current German government and wanted a change. Secondly, Hitler and his Nazi party were similar in ideology to the majority of people and finally he was a great orator who used his similarity to the rest of the German people to help his party grow and to help himself become dictator.
Hitler is notoriously known for his radical political views based on extreme racism, nationalism, and individual superiority (Helicon). He was appointed as chancellor by President Paul Von Hindenburg in 1933 (A&E Television Network). Hitler’s political party had forced other parties to disband, making the Nazis the only legal political party in Germany. After the death of Hindenburg, a law was put in place to abolish the role of the president and give the powers to the chancellor. This law allowed Adolf Hitler to have complete control over everything, becoming the dictator of Germany.

Hitler rose to power through the Nazi party. He won over the the support of the middle and lower class in Germany. This caused the Nazi party to become larger and more powerful. Due to the Great Depression, unemployment rates skyrocketed and Hitler preyed on their weakness. He gave the people hope by making economic promises, which he went on to fulfill. Conflict between the Communists and Social Democrats led to weakness in their party which made Hitler gain more power. He was appointed Chancellor of Hindenburg. Once he gained more and more power he couldn’t be stopped. Hitler worked to abolish freedom of speech and assembly after convincing the president these were emergency acts that needed to be carried out. Hitler gained even more power by having the communist party outlawed and all of its members arrested. The Reichstag was enacted which gave Hitler four years of dictatorial power. The only legal political party in Germany became the Nazi party; every aspect of life was under Nazi control. Hitler did pull Germany out of the Depression. Businesses grew and and unemployment dropped. Most of the growth came from run businesses. Hitler believed that Germans were the supreme race. All Jews, Slavs, Gypsies, Jehovah's

We see both coaches work together and lead the team to an undefeated season that helped unite the town and overcome its own racial strife.
Both wanted the power and wanted to win the election. Communism threatened established power and was targeting more on the rich people and businesses. Part of this strategy was to blame less extreme parties “for causing Germany's problems. As these parties had been unable to work together to solve country's problems, people became more afraid that the Communists may take over so the moderate parties turned to the Nazis to keep the Communists out” (Millan). After the Nazi party took in 37% of the vote, Hitler demanded to become the next Chancellor, but President Hindenburg chose Franz von Papen instead. Von Papen was soon replaced by General Kurt von Schleicher, however, Schleicher’s government was also unable to control the Reichstag. Excited to regain power, “von Papen struck a deal to make Hitler Chancellor, with himself as Vice-Chancellor. The moderate parties would hold all but three of the government posts, which would go to the Nazis; one of these would be Hitler as Chancellor” (Millan). President Hindenburg wanted to continue with the plan that was set up by Von Papen in hope of creating more of a stable government. Hitler’s party was able to get the popular vote from the German people and so now Hitler has gained power and their
