His father was a doctor and was hoping that he would do the same when he got older, but it wasn’t for him. So he was always a risk-taker because even though his dad would’ve been mad he still went for his own way studying nature. He went to Christ's college in Cambridge and graduated from there. Darwin’s big discoveries and ideas didn’t really come into place until 1859, yet his early work indicates most of his big discoveries, that made him famous.

Eventually, Charles went on a voyage on the HMS Beagle to study a variety of organisms such as animals and plant life. The voyage lasted five years and Charles was very excited to explore life in different parts of the world (biography.com). He then later came up with his theory of evolution, which has given the world new ideas on how humans have evolved and how they adapted to their surroundings.

His father’s name was Robert Darwin who was wealthy society doctor and his mother’s name was Susannah Darwin who was financier. He has five siblings. His grandfather’s name was Erasmus Darwin on his father’s side and Josiah Wedgwood on his mother’s side. They were two prominent abolitionists.
