Honduras Throughout Honduras there are many unique cities and towns to visit. The most knowledgeable one is Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. Tegucigalpa is located in the South Western Highland part of Honduras and is where the government is located. San Pedro Sula is know as the “Industrial Capital” of Honduras. Located in the Northern part of the country towards the coast, San Pedro Sula is now well for being the working city of Honduras containing manufacturing plants and factories. It is also known as the place with the most murders in the world. La Ceiba is a city where many tourist go, located on the Caribbean Sea. Having many jungles, mountains, and sandy beaches it is a very popular place to vacation in Honduras. Choloma is a city rapidly growing in Honduras. It is known for the city that has cheap labor and many people go there for work. It is located just north of San Pedro Sula. My dad was born in the small Central American nation of El Salvador, more specifically in Anamoros located on the east side of the country. He lived in the countryside so he often played with their animals, spent most of his childhood swimming in the rivers or playing soccer with his friends, and would frequently hang out with his grandparents in the afternoons. In 1980, when he was about 12 years old that all began to change, he and all those around him needed to be more cautious about their surroundings.
