The Holland test said that my code RCE.”R” which means realistic, “C” stands means conventional, and “E” means enterprising. All three letters in my Holland code implies in my career. In the United States Air Force has quite a range of careers to join. The one I so happened to choose is Security Forces. Becoming an airman is a quest unto itself because it has so many requirements in not only educational preparation and personal qualities but also in the daily expectations for this career.

It is planned to remain the same though 2024. You will need at least a thirty-six on your ASVAB test to join the United States Air Force, and a thirty-three to join the Security Forces. The military has the best benefits, they provided insurance for everyone, they also pay for your housing and food, you also earn thirty days of vacation and the Air Force pays for travel. They also give you a GI bill, which pays for your college , finally, they have a great retirement plan. Your salary varies depending on your rank and paygrade, E-1 through E-9 as the highest. It ranges from $13,712 to $47,876 to $155,556. The good about this job is that you have personal, job and financial security, a sense of thrill, respect, the best school, you get to travel, and you get to stay healthy and fit. The bad part about joining the military you will get homesick if you get stationed away from home, there is a board of service venue, risk of casualty, implements an foreign policy. With the great benefits will come very long hours and strict dress code, you could possibly work indoor or outdoor. There is a strict uniform dress code and the Security Forces has has honor of wearing the beret. My personal career plan for my future is after High School is to either go to college to study Criminal Justice or join the Air Force right after High School. My goal in attending a United States Service Academy and becoming an officer in the military is to provide myself ample opportunities to reach my established life goals. I plan to pursue a career in aerospace engineering, and developing that career through one of the academies will help me to achieve the dreams I had as a child.
