The meeting was at 9:00 a.m. NASA was waiting for him. In his briefcase was the subject of the meeting: the star chart. It wasn’t a normal star chart. This was a very special one that could not be recreated by any professional cartographer. It was a sketch of another star chart, which belonged to an extraterrestrial species—or so they thought. The chart was drawn by a man who claimed he had been abducted by aliens. In the meeting, they were to discuss whether the chart was genuine or just the random scrawling of an insane man.
Finally, he arrived. As soon as he entered the building, he saw the “Out of Order” sign on the elevator. He raced up the stairs and made it into the room just in time.
“So, Mr. Smith,” said his boss, Paul, “what do you have for us this time?”

One of a kind. We got it from a man who said that extraterrestrials took him from his home in the morning, tested him, and then teleported him back. The way he described it, one of the aliens scanned him with a complex-looking machine. He said that the aliens looked as if they were pointing out a route, and the route was heading towards one planet in particular: one that they called Domus, which is Latin for ‘home.’ Basically, we think the star chart leads to the aliens’ home planet.”
Paul asked, “And how, if all of this is true, if this star chart does truly lead to the planet, will that be of any use to us? I know that it will be another planet that can support life and all, but looking at the map, it’s much farther from Earth than Mars is. Why do we need
It was a cold winter morning, two vessels at battle, bombs thrown, shots fired, but that wasn’t the only thing that happened on December 22 of 1773, that morning the first mate was calling for the captain to prepare for battle, but the captain did not respond, the first mate checked everywhere, the captain’s bedroom, the cook’s quarters, he was nowhere to be found, but there was one place where he hadn’t checked, the bulkhead, he opened it, it was a very gruesome scene, he was covered in his own blood with a sword in his chest.
The thrilling thought of extraterrestrials have been a source of fascination to the human race longer than just the last few centuries. Central Asia 329 B.C.E: Alexander the Great recorded two silver disks diving towards him, his men, and their war elephants, forcing them to retreat (Mancusi). This isn’t the first recorded documentation of the possibility that aliens exist, how ever this comes from one of the most well known names of history. Similar stories have progressed throughout history, most with similar disk-like shapes that have come to be the iconic shape of an alien space craft.
This week I learned about philosophers from around the world: Wang Yangming, Kwasi Wiredu, and Voltaire. The most interesting part, in my opinion, was Wang’s philosophy of “unity of knowledge and action”.
He ran to his parents’ room and jumped on their bed, screaming “Wake up! Wake up! We have to go now!”
Throughout our existence, mankind has looked up to the stars with a fantastical wonderment that excites a feeling of the unknown. In order to understand the heavens above us, ancient cultures created grand mythologies utilizing valiant heroes, gods, and life practices and then imbedded these stories into the stars in the form of constellations. One of these cultures is the Navajo Native American tribe that resided in the southwest region of the United States. By viewing these constellations and the myths behind them, we can learn about what they Navajo held scared and how they viewed the world around them.
The house grew darker as he travelled through, hoping he entered the right room. He stumbled over a pile of wood left from the flooring. Catching himself, he called out to the girl again.
The Native Americans believed that in the story “Coyote Places The Stars”, a coyote wonders why his wolf brothers look up at the sky every night. Well when the wolves finally tell the coyote that there are animals up in the sky. The coyote shot arrows up into the sky to create a ladder to be able to climb to the stars and visit the animals above. As they climbed to the stars they found two bears roaming the skies. The coyote decided to leave the wolves with the bears and as he climbed down the arrows he took one out at a time so the wolves couldn’t leave. As the coyote looks up at the night sky, he is pleased on how the arrangement of the stars look so he begins to arrange other stars as well, pleased with work he told Meadowlark to tell people who looks at the stars that it was the coyote who has placed the stars, now Meadowlark tells everyone about coyote and the stars ("Native American Legends").
For many years astronomers and people alike have constantly heard about the observations and records of the Chinese and Europeans. No other culture can provide as much information as that gathered by the Chinese and Europeans, but there are many other cultures that observed and recorded the night sky, one of those being the Native Americans. During the last fifteen to twenty years archaeoastronomers have uncovered much concerning the beliefs and records of Native Americans. Unfortunately, the methods of keeping records of astronomical events were not as straight forward as the Chinese and Europeans. The Native Americans had to use what they could to record what they observed. Their records were found on rock
“Yeah,” Smith answered, “I got an offer from one Admiral Steven Davies to go work for him. He offered to show me around his shop and give me a rundown of my new billet.”
For example, Austin mentions and even includes a video from a popular YouTube channel in which the pyramid’s potential background and purpose is assessed. A final thing that solidifies that the article is targeted towards those with no prior knowledge but a fascination in aliens is the title; the inclusion of the words alien, ET, and UFOers all act as click bait to grab the attention of people who are merely interested in learning more about space life forms.
“Wait!” Pythagoras jumped up, for getting about the inky dark above that would suck him in, and covered his face with his arms. No sooner than he did so, he was sucked into the stars, turning into a constellation, to muse over his theories for all
I feel awkward answering this question because I have made many mistakes and there isn’t anything good out of those mistakes. In my opinion, wrong decisions never bring anything positive. Wrong decisions decrease morale and self-esteem. At a young age, mistakes or wrong decisions don’t affect much, but as you get older wrong decisions can have a tremendous negative impact. There aren’t second chances for people who make wrong decisions. I know that deep down below the surface mistakes can bring opportunities to learn and improve ourselves, but in this rapidly changing and moving world, there isn’t time to reflect and learn from those mistakes. If wrong decisions brought opportunities for learning and personal improvement, many
Soon the elevator door open to the floor where the private presidential suit. Gustave stepped out of the elevator and looked for room numbers. Cheryl walked down the hall, her steps silent on the carpet, her heartbeat the only sound she could hear. The rhythm of it pounded through her like a drum suddenly beating in a rock concert. She stood a moment, waiting for a steady breath. Now what?
Mars is the planet nearest to Earth that we are most likely to explore and send
Lux had a dream of a being in space, he had a body made of pure light and he was moving as fast as a shooting star. He saw a chaotic cluster of irregular stars which had an earth like planet but it 's size was greater than the sun which was nearby. He also saw an elliptical galaxy with a gray planet that had megalithic structures on the surface which could be seen from even the vast distance he was from. finally, He saw a Planet, that was blue with dry land that is maroon in a galaxy that was the shape of a spiral.
