The greatest challenge would most likely be, in my opinion, discrimination. The Nazi's were all for antisemitism and racism, while the Jews were not. And since the Jews were not the same type of people that the Germans were, the Nazi's would kill them. Another challenge would be, if you were of another race other than German, the way you were treated. Many children and adults were killed. Many were killed immediately after birth. Children that were born in camps sometimes survived because prisoners hid them. "Different" people were used as workers and as subjects for medical
“After visiting these places, you can easily understand how that within a few years Hitler will emerge from the hatred that surrounds him now as one of the most significant figures who ever lived.”
This investigation will explore the question: Was Hitler’s greatest reason for starting World War II to create a Master Race or to regain Germany’s lost territory? From years 1889 to 1945 will be the focus of this investigation, to allow for an analysis of Hitler’s greatest reason to start World War I.
Economically, Mussolini and Hitler had the same goals, for their countries to be self-sufficient, and to eliminate the unemployment. These two dictators used their country’s failing
The rise and fall of Adolf Hitler is one of the most terrible, dramatic and unbelievable stories in history (Wein). Following the financial troubles of World War I, Hitler came into power over Germany as chancellor, ending German democracy. He rebuilt the German Army and started the Nazi Regime (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum). Hitler employed several methods to raise to the position of Fuerer, the Leader of Germany. It included discrediting his opponents, manipulating a series of events in his favor and creating absolute power or a dictatorship by removing all obstacles.
In the following investigation, the following question will be addressed: In what ways did economic and political issues in Germany between 1922 and 1932 contribute to Hitler's rise to power? The scope of my research will fall between the years of 1922-1932, the start of Hitler’s attempt to run for office. A variety of primary and secondary sources will be used to answer the question. The bitterness caused upon the change of government systems in Germany will be analyzed, along with his childhood that all primarily drove Hitler to run for power. Then, the harsh effects World War I had on Germany along with the Great Depression that followed as a result will also be looked at. Finally, a conclusion will be reached.
Adolf Hitler once said “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” Hitler rose from the middle class and built a nation on the ashes of an old one. Hitler took a defeated country and made it greater. Hitler was a soldier and earned the rank of corporal in world war 1 and eventually became fuhrer,(leader) before WW2. Adolf Hitler is obviously one of the most influential person of all time.
The day was January 30, 1933, Adolf Hitler was named chancellor of Germany (World War II in Europe). As Berlin celebrated proudly the night of, the rest of the world had little idea of the tragic consequences that lie ahead. Within months, Hitler and the new Nazi regime obtained power all over the country (The Holocaust Explained). Unlike the people of The Road and other societies where this occurred, it was not the German people themselves that suffered. Unless, of course, that German happened to be Jewish.
Probably the most difficult time for Jews was the Holocaust. The Nazis attempted to wipe out the Jews completely. They managed to murder over 6 million Jews in the Holocaust and of those 6 million, 1.5 million were children. The Jews were almost powerless and there was little resistance from them. World War II started in 1939. Hitler was attempting to achieve world domination. He targeted the Jews because he hated them and blamed them for all of his problems. However, the Holocaust was kept very secret. The Nazis were very ingenious and were able to keep the world from knowing anything.
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.”
The Holocaust all started with Germany in World War One. Hitler was a former soldier in World War One and had gotten injured in that war. Hitler believed that Jews were the reason for the defeat of his country; he compared Jews to poison. “Hitler began hating Jews when a Jewish doctor unsuccessfully treated his cancerous mother” (Hall, 1). Hitler was very close with his mother, so when she passed he believed that it was not out of illness; he thought she had her blood poisoned purposely, so he did not want to let that grudge go. Having Germany lose in World War One was like a slap in the face, it was a lack of pride and that was something Hitler lived his life on. In World War One, “Hitler had been temporarily blinded and was in rage; the fact that he could not do anything to help his country in need, drove him mentally insane” (Wistrich, 2).
Adolf Hitler born April 20, 1889, was just a mere citizen until Germany faced world humiliation post World War I. After World War I Germans faced harsh economic depression during which in turn caused people to lose trust in their government. Hitler being an intelligent man took advantage of this opportunity to promote himself and gain power. The Treaty of Versailles, established after WWI, led Germany to their lowest in world standings. The treaty humiliated Germany as they lost their land, respect, military, and say in world affairs. Germany is at an all-time low needed a savior and that is where in January of 1993 Hitler stepped in. Hitler used this depression and used fear as a tool to persuade Germans that he could boost the economy and bring Germany back to power. He promised the Germans hope, glory, and supreme power.
Why I am doing my research on Adolf Hitler is because he played in a big role in World War 2 with the Nazi’s.What he did was a History Disaster. The Four topics are Jewish Ghettos,Art,Inventions, and Chancellor. He has done a lot that why I have chosen him for my research and I hope in the future this doesn’t happen again.
especially noted when he earned the First Class Iron Cross, the highest military honor a German
On April 20, 1889, a demon was brought into this world. His name was Adolf Hitler. He was born in the family quarters of the Pommer Inn in Braunau, a small city on the Austrian border. The child was unhealthy and his mother, Klara, worried that young Adolf would not survive. Klara provided much love and attention to her baby, which Adolf would later take advantage of to get what he wanted (Smith 50). Despite his self-centeredness, Adolf held a deep bond with his mother which united them throughout his childhood. On the other hand, Alois, Adolf’s father, failed to play an important role in Adolf’s development. Alois spent the majority of his time away from the customs station with his friends
From January of 1933 to April of 1945, Adolf Hitler ruled over the German people and became known as one of the most notorious dictators the world has ever seen. Several studies done by scholars and historians show that Hitler “displayed substantial initiative, toughness of mind, self-confidence, and ruthlessness” (Housden 188). Using coercion techniques and his understanding of the human psyche, Hitler was able to bully and lie to his European neighbors in order to achieve his objectives. He fooled nations into believing his “peaceful” intentions, but his mission for World War II came to an ultimate failure leading to his suicide in April of 1945 (Housden 200). Adolf Hitler faced eventual failure as a military leader as a result of his misunderstandings of the “rules” of warfare. Hitler’s lack of experience and his inadequate knowledge of warfare were two of the key points that proved to be fatal.
