The Ainu are originally historically residents of Hokkaido, Japan’s nothernmost large island, their origins mostly unknown but theorists believe that a people called the Yayoi made their way to the island nation through means unknown and integrated themselves with an indigenous population called colloquially the Jomon-jin or “Rope Pattern People” so called for the distinctive appearance of various pieces ofi neolithic pottery found in ancient burial sites. Though it can be stated that the Yayoi didn’t reach as far as Shakalin or Kamchatka which has allowed the Ainu culture to survive in those areas, though the Kamchatke Ainu have been extinct since prehistory. There are Ainu myths that claim that “They lived in this place one hundred thousand years before the Children of the Sun came.” Their rich culture aside, the Japanese government has for hundreds of years and only stopped recently pursuing both officially and unofficially

In Japan, most of the Chinese influence was brought to Japan through Korea. Japan consists of four mountainous islands off the coast of Korea, and its early development reflected that of the mainland. There were several waves of immigrants that came to Japan. In about 10,000 B.C.E., the Jōmon people practiced hunting and fishing and made clay pots. People who immigrated from northeast Asia brought agriculture and Yayoi culture with them. Yayoi communities were distinguished by complex social organization containing rulers, soldier, artisans, and priests. Objects made in China and Korea could be found in Japan, which shows that people were traveling back and forth from Japan. More waves of immigrants came from Korea during the fourth through
In the early 3,000 b.c americas about 3,000 people came to the mesoamerica from asia on a land bridge called beringia. Many of their origins come from present day peru near the coast. Their entire civilization was around 650,000 square meters, or about 110 football fields combined. Unlike almost every other civilization the caral supe was a peaceful civilization and traded with others. There is practically no sign of warfare besides the defense tactics such as weapons. The caral supe only lasted around 500 years from 3,000 a.d-2,500 a.d. The entire civilization seemed that it was just abandoned with no real explanation of why. Some scientists think that there was a drought with their near by rivers so they were forced to move somewhere else.
In many ways, the Nara period (710–794 AD) was the beginning of Japanese culture becoming what we today think of as Japanese. The country was united and centrally governed for the first time, and much of the basics of the feudal
The Japanese traditions state that the sun goddess created Japan and its emperors. However, researchers highlight 400AD as the start of Japan’s history after its foundation by the Yamato clan in Kyoto. The group controlled other families in the eastern and western parts of the region and tried to extend their rule in Korea. However, such interaction led to the introduction of Buddhism. In the 700s, China joined the Yamato clan and ruled through an imperial court. With the help of the samurai, the Minamoto clan established a military government under Yoritomo’s leadership in the 1100s. The entry of the Portuguese missionaries, Spanish, English and Dutch traders in the 16th century led to the collapse of the dictatorial military government as marked by the transition to the current power in the 19th century.
It is difficult to decipher the good and the evil that lives within people. John Steinbeck provokes both virtues in the East of Eden, taking place in Salinas Valley, California in the 1900’s. The theme that is subtly circling all over the book is the meaning of the word “timshel” which revolves around the characters Cathy, Adam, and Caleb.

Ancient civilizations have had profound effects of what we know as the modern world today. The primary purpose for anything that lives is to survive. Throughout history animals, plants and humans have adapted to their surroundings. All living things have changed throughout time. The thing that differs humans from rest is, humans are more cognitively advanced. Over the course of time the shape and size of the human skull has changed. The size of the human brain has increased, which has allowed humans to adapt more to their surroundings. To survive, humans were making tools for hunting and to cut with. The closer you lived to the equator the darker your skin may have been, so you could adapt to the intensity of the sun’s rays. If you lived further
Muzio Clementi known as “the father of the piano” was born in Rome, Italy in 1752. When he was very young his father became aware of his musical talent. When Rachel Carson wrote Silent Spring, she focused mainly on how pesticides affected the environment. She looked at many different types of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides that caused great harm to everything within an environment. Trying to persuade scientists and officials about these issues that are caused by pesticides. This did a great job at communicating to the public back in the 1960’s, but in today’s world this book would not do a great job at communicating to the public, with the way technology is today. Also, back in the 1960’s this book did a great job at communicating to the public because it was easy to read and follow. Meaning that most people were able to understand the point that Carson was trying to make. Rachel Carson also illustrated the importance of both science and policy within her book, through the multiple examples that she presented in Silent Spring.
