While the Egyptian New Kingdom and the Sumerians were important to ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, these two period and culture differ from each other in variety of ways. Both period and culture social structure had slaves as the lowest class on their social structure. However, the Egyptian New Kingdom and the Sumerians differed in political structure, social structure, military and religion. Even though the Egyptian New Kingdom and the Sumerians were at different periods there are similarities and differences between them.

Sumerians was ancient groups of people that lived in southern Mesopotamia. From everything I have researched, the Sumerians had a different way of life, they hunted prey, lived in caves or huts, provided their own type of language among themselves and had a very religious lifestyle.
