Reflective Essay
The past thirteen years of my school life has definitely been interesting. Within my education life, I have moved five different times and been to five different schools. Those schools were Flathead Christian School, Riverview Elementary, Doris Dickson Elementary, Ulm School, and finally Cascade High School.
I don’t remember many memories or experiences in elementary school than moving around to different schools. Though growing up, I was always a good kid. I did as my mom said to do and I was a pretty relaxed kind of kid, but I was sensitive and shy. A lot of days of elementary I would just walk around the playground and watched the other kids play games. In 2nd grade I got a pretty bad beat up. The ‘blacktop’ was where all the kickball and dodgeball games happened since it was rough, flat concrete. As I was walking around one day, I noticed the kickball rolling away so I went to go get it and pick it up for the other kids. At that time I noticed three other kids from the game had been running down to get the ball and they

It was a big change because I went to a class of 30, to a class of 6 and later 7. Middle school was great! I shot my first big buck in 7th grade and drew the Highwoods elk tag in 8th grade, only to get my first bull elk. I fell in love with the small school. It was nice to know all the other students and all the teachers. My mom became more relaxed and soon got her first job in such a long time after getting her bachelor's degree. Being in an actual house was wonderful too! Most of my elementary life was spent living in my grandpa’s apartment complex. So, our house and property slowly grew into what is now. We have our main house, a greenhouse, and a shop. Our family also grew. We were able to have chickens, gained another dog, another cat, parakeets, and this past year we got a pig, basically a little
I went to the same elementary school from kindergarten to 5th grade, Suncoast Elementary School. My brother, my sister and I all went to Suncoast Elementary school from k-5th. My sister is still in elementary school, but once she gets out she’ll either go to Gulf Coast or Powell. My brother, my sister and I all had the same kindergarten class room but always had a different teacher. At that school my brother would hang out with the people in the office often so when I got there they all knew my name and was extra nice to me. This is only about my experience from kindergarten through 3rd grade.
If Middle Football is Going to Last People Need to Get Their Head in the Game.
My 7th grade year was much easier because I was used to being in the school with the big kids. Sports weren’t the same as they were in 6th grade. I didn’t get playing time because the 8th and 9th graders. It wasn’t too much fun playing with 8th and 9th graders. The work was still easy except for science I never understood it. It caused me to have a d in science. My 8th grade year was not so bad. I got better at sports and got a little bit of playing time. My grade in science still was bad. I got in trouble in my English class because we had had Ipads and figured out how to text on it. Kids in my class and I were texting each other on it and the other kids started putting bad stuff so I pretended that I was our

In high school, I was very involved with the school’s musical theatre program. I loved to act and sing, and I was pretty good at both, but I never got a part better than being in the ensemble. This was because I was not part of the “privileged” group of students.
My life has been a test since I turned into an online student. Every day I am currently battling to adjust coming home from being at work all night, my life and my school work are hard to balance. Just to let you know what I do at work my positions on my job is housekeeping supervisor and I work at Parkland Hospital Tuesday through Sunday, and I leave home going to work at 8:30 pm it takes me 35 minutes to get there so I won't be late. When I get there, I start getting thing ready for my employee’s. First of all, middle school students part-time job meeting and learning conflict, thus affecting learning. If we go to work after school and vacation, there will be no time to attend to study, so students will learn less time. Besides, middle school students are easily confused by the material society, which will lead to the wrong idea of making money in the first place, which will lead to academic neglect. This is for the middle school students, it is to pick up the sesame and lost the watermelon!
Towards the end of my sophomore year I went through some personal problems that caused my grades to drop. It was unexpected and I was devastated due to the fact that I set out to reach my goal of a higher GPA that year. The shock of my grades only worsened the situation and slowly I began giving up. I maintained average grades with the help of my teachers and I set a few goals for myself. My goals included, a GPA of 3.5 or above, at least a 20 on my ACT, and to overall try to better my mental state. With hard work, I was able to raise my grades and have above a 3.0 GPA by the end of my sophomore year. The start of junior year was my chance to accomplish my goals, but I was faced with even more challenges. Same as before, my grades began to
You need to get ready for middle school. You might need help take my advice for stuff you need. You can go to stores and get some school stuff or clothes and maybe even some jackets. If not at least you need some school supplies for school. That is the most thing you need to be worried about.
So it’s the start of senior year, and I got this assignment to write a High School Letter to myself. My first 3 years of high school were anything but “normal”. Still, the experience I’ve had and continue to have were very fun.
I am not so proud of the grades I received throughout high school. Receiving good grades has always been something I struggled with from middle school. I feel that I didn’t try to my full potential and I know I can do way better. The majority of the time, I’d turn in my work on time. Other times I wouldn’t, and that’s what would affect my grades. I did great freshman year, and fell off the end of my sophomore year. Senior year has taught me to push myself even harder than before, and this year I am eligible. Even though the grades I received throughout high school were not so great, I know that the motivation I carried through senior year will stick with me to not fall back down.
High school has helped to shape me as a person because of all the new experiences I’ve had so far (good and bad). Before my first week of high school, I was a nervous mess and was scared to come to high school. Luckily, I had friends who helped ease away all the nervousness. Altogether High school has changed me for the better. The H.S.A. has and will continue to give me opportunities that I wouldn’t have otherwise. Moreover, it has helped to give me a stronger sense of purpose for what I want to do later in life and the decisions I will make.
History provided a time when only wealthy, white, male children were given the opportunity to have access to an education. The education of children through the public school system has changed throughout history. The focus has now shifted to every child being given an equal opportunity education. The purpose of schools is to allow children to learn the proper skills needed to have a successful life, contribute positively to society, diversify their social lives, and provide children the ability to decide their social class and how it defines them.
When I was 5 my family and I moved to California. We moved to a small city named Hemet. I started school here since kindergarten I went to an elementary school called Hemet Elementary. The school was a nice looking school kind of old but big. Overtime, the school had a problem with a water leak and was flooding. Due to that problem they closed the school down and transferred every kid that went to that school to another school. Everyone got split up to different schools because there were too many kids to put just at one school. I ended up getting to go to Whittier Elementary for fifth grade. As I got older I went through puberty at an early age so in a way I matured up faster. I started to notice that I liked different things as I got into middle school. I wasn’t into childish
