      There are many similarities, of course, when comparing college football to the NFL. First and foremost, the same basic rules of the game apply. Teams are comprised of a full roster who all have the same goal. For instance, each have a quarterback, receivers, defense players, offense players, and so forth.

Many problems going around about college sports and colleges athletes. Most colleges all over the nation allow the college to have sports but then there are some that don't. Being in a sport in college is just like basically having a job. You would need to be dedicated to this and not have much time for anything else. Practices can last anywhere from 4 to 6 hours a day just for one thing. Kind of crazy to think about something like this. Many people just simply don't have the time to do sports in college because they have a real job outside of school. This is different compared to high school because you would have time then and now you don't have much time for anything else at all. There are college athletes basically everywhere you go. Whether they play for universities or juts community colleges, it's all the same thing. The only big difference about this is the price differences. Universities are much more expensive then when playing for a community college so that's why people get scholarships.

What comes to mind when you think of a college football player? They were the best one their team in high school. They are headed toward the National Football League. They must have worked really hard in high school to be where they are. High school football is easy, because if you are good then you have so much more fun playing the game. In high school, there is homecoming, powderpuff, and senior night that gives everyone something to remember. College football there’s about one hundred players that are just as good or better than you so that brings in the competition. Although college football is harder than high school football, there is more competition, intensity, and rigorous plays; high school football is more enjoyable.

Even though high school and college have the same purpose, each has a very different way of handling students and their policies. High school is a lot more strict with their rules including dress codes and schedules. However, college professors and deans treat their students more as adults, and expect them to do what they are supposed and act how they are supposed to. Education after high school is a responsibility, not an obligation. You are no longer forced to become educated, but much rather choose to be.

The college football playoffs are back and better than ever in year four.This year the two national semi-final games are on New Year's Day at the Rose bowl game presented by Northwestern Mutual and at the Allstate sugar bowl. The four teams selected are Alabama (11-1,7-1) vs. Clemson (12-1,7-1) in the Sugar bowl and Georgia (12-1,7-1) vs. Oklahoma (12-1,8-1) in the Rose Bowl.
