Anne’s First Street Preschool is in Beaufort, North Carolina. Anne Street has a Mother’s Morning Out Program. The MMO is everyday 8 to 12, so the mothers and fathers can do what they need for that brief period of time without having to watch over their child. The MMO has two teachers, A and G. They supervise 7 children, 4 girls and 3 boys. The child used for this project is named C and he is almost 2 years old. The other girls named L, B, K, and T. L and B were twins who were 2 years old. K was almost 2. T was almost 3 years old. The boys, not including C, were D and M. D and M were both around the same age, almost 2 years old. The observation took place from 8 to 9:30, when the children went outside to play.

For this experience, I have visited Wynona’s House Child Advocacy Center, often referred to as Wynona’s House. This was the perfect opportunity to go to such an agency because April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. During my visit, I interviewed two women that worked at this agency: Ashley Pires, and briefly, Karen J. Zambrano. Ashley Pires is the Family Advocate and Karen Zambrano is Wynona House’s Forensic Interview Specialist.
The information from our meeting was provided to our leadership team via email. This was the responsibility of the team, along with the minutes (chart minutes 1F) from the meeting. See email 1E.

This child care center flourishes with creativity. The environment is molded by family orientation and the thriving of learning. The building is red brick all the way around with black roofing. The outside has a look of professionalism and welcoming to all who enter. The flowers and shrubbery change by the season and the cleanliness of the area is inviting to all visitors. Upon coming in the front door, the warmth of the lobby is immediately comforting. The art work of the children grace the walls and the smells of the kitchen indicate the chef is at work preparing the meals of the day. All classrooms are open door and to all who wish to visit, with permission of
