Hearing Dogs It would be nice to have someone who makes life a little bit easier and not so hard all the time, don’t you think? Hearing dogs are not exactly a form of technology but they are able to help people that are hard of hearing to be more aware of their surroundings. These dogs have made many deaf people all over have an easier life because these animals are there to make their everyday skills less difficult. Hearing dogs cost a lot of money and time to train, almost $14,000 and up to half a year to teach it everything it needs to be aware of when it comes to warning their owner of their surroundings. Many things that are used nowadays involve sound like alarm clocks, stoves, doorbells, and phones. Hearing dogs make not being able to hearing things a little bit easier by when there is a sound going off that the deaf person should acknowledge they will get their attention and lead them to the sound. This can not only make things easier on the person that is hard of hearing but can also save a life in certain circumstances like if someone is blowing a car horn at something that you do not see or if you are cooking and forget about it, the dog can alarm you that your meal is …show more content…
They allow help to a deaf person and they also provide a loving friend they get to be with all the time. Many people say that having their hearing dog in public makes them feel more secure and more confident with their deafness. Having a hearing dog by your side can also allow people to notice that person is deaf and could be able to help them in the future in case of any emergencies that could happen. These dogs have a very good impact to the Deaf community and the only thing negative about them is that there is almost a year wait just to get one of these dogs. The lasting effect these dogs have on a person is life changing because it shows the deaf person they are not alone and will always have someone by their side to stick with
I'd like to start off my introducing myself, I'm Jimmy Reginald Fontenot. I've spent a majority of my life working for the State Police in the wonderful state of Louisiana. Before my 12 years in the State Police I was a Canine Handler for the St. Landry Parish sheriff's office for 3 years, worked there for a total of 4. As you can tell I'm a career lawman and will continue till my last breath to serve the beautiful city of Los Santos. I'd like to take a moment to also thank the previous commander, Roman Stakic, for nominating me as the new Canine Services Commander. I will do him, the department, and the fine city of Los Santos proud and continue his legacy through the Canine Service. I'd also like to address that the Canine Services Unit will
The amount of different service dogs available is incredible to me, before listening to Chris and Katy I only knew about one type of service dog and that was a seeing eye dog. I had no idea about any of the other possibilities such as hearing dogs, social dogs or dogs to help veterans. All of these service dogs are raised and trained to perform amazing tasks and help the owners out incredibly. Its a very wide range of people that dogs can help and I believe that as time goes on we will find more ways to help the lives of humans by using

Chihuahuas might seem like they´re only accessories for your purse or what an old hispanic lady might have has pet. Some might think of chihuahuas as the face of a Taco Bell commercial or those movies with sgi pups that can talk. Chihuahuas can do more than sponsor Taco Bell. Chihuahuas work as guide dogs they act as eyes for their owner and help get through obstacles safely like busy streets and/or sidewalks. Hearing chihuahuas will act as the ears of their deaf owner, they are able to alert them of just about any noise; depending on their training like the ring of a doorbell or knocking. Mobily assist chihuahuas help their owners with handing and picking up objects, closing and opening doors, and even getting dressed. So service dogs need training. One of the problems with people who need a service dog is that it is hard to know where to start. Their doctor tells them that they need one and gives them a letter stating so, but then they are on their own. Most people look to service dog organizations. These organizations train the dogs to their own set standard and will try to match them up with the right dog for their needs. This all of course comes at a cost to the disabled person. (who already has many extra costs in life.) The costs can range from five hindered to twenty thousand. One the disabled person has decided that
Imagine what life would be like with the inability to hear. Try to envision watching television without sound or watching an inaudible movie. There is a silence that has way of making the busiest scenes seem still. Now try to imagine a lively area filled with lots of laughter, roaring music, and a handful of birds chirping away. That imagery paints a scene of the plain difference between a hearing world and a deaf one. One world is capable of hearing and the other involves no incoming source of sound whatsoever. Understanding how deaf culture and how the hard of hearing work and live is important in order to comprehend the reasons behind why they do the certain things they do such as stare at others for a long period of time or the reason
Finally, I got a dog this is so exciting! oops! I when a little ahead of the story, let me go to the being.
The domestic dog has to be one of the most unique animals that the human had ever bred. All dogs were formed differently and for separate reasons; whether it be for their looks or for their personal attributes, the dog has been evolved around humans and yet many breeds were created by humans themselves. I also believe that having a dog is a necessity to having a balanced life, just how Cesar Millan was quoted on the Brainy Quote web page “The dog can only become what's in your bubble. The dog is imitating the energy that is in your bubble. You are the source, the feast of energy. If you feel anxious, the dog becomes anxious with you. If you become nervous, the dog wakes up nervous with you”. Your dog runs off of your actions and emotions
One of the most meaningful acts a breeder can do is provide their puppies with the best start in life, but it doesn't stop there. As a responsible breeder, your dedication surrounds helping prospective puppy owners raise happy and healthy dogs. As a dog lover, connecting caring, responsible individuals and families with their forever pet is your passion. By encouraging and endorsing products that promote the wholesome development of dogs, particularly during the first year of life, breeders can be a part of ensuring a long and active life for the pups. Breeders hold themselves and their clients to the highest standards and the goal is improving the life of each puppy.
