Importance of Teams
In any organization, teams may serve many purposes. Having a team not only allows for the work to be divided, but it also allows for different points of view and a new ideas. With teams, also come many difficulties, but hopefully with the right leadership many of the problems can quickly be resolved. As a manager, my other priorities would be to improve the efficiency and satisfaction with both my staff and those we serve. Being in charge of a call center where the call volume has dramatically increased over the course of a year will require great management skills and good teamwork. Figuring out to properly use the money and develop the best strategy as to how

The first step in the process is to identify and define the problem at hand. During this step, all the information is gathered and looked over. This allows for the problem to be clearly identified and hopefully making the whole process easier. Step two of the process is to begin generating possible solutions. In this step, managers can begin formulating one or several potential solutions (Lombardi, Schermerhorn, & Kramer). Before going onto step three, some additional information may be required, because step three is when a plan of action is chosen. In the fourth step, the chosen plan is implemented. It is the responsibility of the manager to make sure this portion goes smoothly. Everyone on the team should know exactly what they should be doing. The final step in the process is to review the results. In reviewing the outcome of the action plan that has been chosen, you may find things that need to be altered and you may find things that are going perfectly. At this point the appropriate changes should be made.
As for the call center in this organization it would be smart to make sure that within the call center there are different departments, distinguished by specialty. This is just another reason why teams are important in the healthcare environment. Everyone brings something different to the table
There will be corrective action plan made by the Project Manager. The corrective action plan will be meeting with the team members and raise the issues mentioned by stakeholders. Each member’s performance will be evaluated and also include measurements for achieving the intended outcomes and anticipated timeline for

Week two gave us an inside look on what the six steps are during the planning process. These steps are situational analysis, alternative goals and plans, goal and plan evaluation, goal and plan selection, implementation, and finally monitor and control. The step that Tina, Joanne, and Chris thought was most important in the planning process was the role of setting up alternative goals and plans. They believe it is always a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the original plan did not achieve the intended goal. We all were able to agree that having a backup plan was a great way of running a business.
Step 2: This stage may require a negotiation with key stakeholders concerning the definition of success. Also, the coaching plan and resources are agreed and committed. For example, in this stage, the coach should present and agree the executive development needs and goals, identify and outline a suitable action plan, propose suggestions about milestones and metrics, and agree how progress will be measured.
Four different processes are followed in any organization. Assessment is the first process, “an organizations performance can be determined by collecting information systematically” (CLAS). Data is being collected to review how employees and the organization as a whole are performing when I manager uses the assessment process. At this time the manager should be providing feedback regularly during the assessment process as to what areas need improvement, the areas that are strong, and what areas need to change. If at a point the manager decides change needs to take place the next step would be planning. Planning identifies the problem this determines what is contributing or causing the problem, then a solution needs to be found. It is up to the
No management position is easy these days. There are many rules and regulations to follow, as well as many responsibilities that grow more over time. One of the responsibilities as a manager is to improve efficiency of the company and extend customer satisfaction. Not only does this take money, but time, skill, and teamwork. As the manager of a busy call center, the call volume has increased so much that there is an extra $20,000 to spend on improving customer satisfaction and efficiency. How can this be spent wisely to reach these goals? Teamwork is top on the list of importance because without a team, there is no business. Teams provide many things to a health care facility, as well as any other successful business.
A standard organizational structure of a hospital might have different perspectives. Such as administrative team, information services, patient care management, and diagnostic
We need to define the problem and determine where the root of the problem is. Then we find a solution to that problem and start to plan how we are going to implement that
The decision making process follows the same steps every time a decision is made. The first step is to analysis the problem presented thoroughly (Rossi, Picchi, Di Stefano, Marongiu, & Scarsini, 2015). Questions such as; what is the problem?, and why should the problem be solved? May need to be answered before the person engages in the
Another important planning step would be monitor and control. On daily basis, operational managers will conduct detailed checks on the operation, while tactical managers perform ensures constant growth of the project, and strategic managers control the direction of the project growth, making sure the company is working towards the ultimate goal. Planning is an ongoing process. When implementing the plan of the expansion, new situations and problems may arise unexpectedly or due to market changes. It is important to constantly update the project with the market to ensure upmost
feedback and identify objectives. It is usually the line manager who has to plan, prioritise
Fixing problems that face health care in many health facilities demand a system wide set of solutions. The systems used in these facilities must be assessed and redesigned to identify factors that will aid in the achievement of the set goals. The enormous task of achieving the goals should be undertaken collaboratively by all the key stakeholders, who include, health care professionals, planners and policy makers, administrators, payers, and patients and their families. These partnerships must begin with a common understanding of the problems together with a shared commitment to cooperate and work together to eliminate the problems. With this knowledge, therefore, an action plan for redesigning the health care system can be developed and later implemented. For a successful health care service to be realized, there are various factors which should be employed and which are not found in the traditional business setting. These include unique economic processes, proper regulatory requirements and the perfect quality indicators. This creates a need for every leader within the healthcare industry to create or develop unique skill sets that will harmonize both organizational leadership and the inter-professional team development. It is, therefore, important to understand the comprehensive approach to the management of patient care and also how the concepts of team development and organizational leadership support healthcare leaders in creation of a patient-centric
5. What is the next step the team members must take in order to complete their project plans?
The decision making process can also be divided into seven steps, where the first step will basically involve defining the problem. These steps allow for the main issue to be identified, and therefore the manager should make sure that it has been done correctly. After the problem identification stage, we can move forward and identify the limiting factors, and in this the manager should make use of all resources available to do it the best way. Some of the resources include information, time, personnel, equipment and supplies. Using this, managers can be able to identify the factors that might hinder them from achieving their goals.
Throughout the semester, numerous topics were introduced that support the effectiveness of not only managers, but anyone who has a future in the workplace. While there is value in all the concepts discussed, I found that some of the discussions inspired new ideas to concepts that I had previously been introduced to in other classes. Thus, these well-known business concepts or practices have been given a clearer definition, one of which I can visualize, rather than simply provide a definition of words for. While some of these work concepts had previously seemed ambiguous, I now feel that there is a direct, structured way at which managers can ensure they are conducting themselves effectively.
