People are demanding faster and better service and those are the quality that technology can provide. Because human services are more expensive than a machine, corporations are more likely to put machine rather than human in their business for their survival. Yes, the corporations are making money but you should not look at it in that point of view.

For example technology can help people clean, cook, remind us and make many things. In the story “There Will Come Soft Rains” by Ray Bradbury it mentions how technology benefits society helping with everyday tasks
The great thing about having technology is that it allows us to things we couldn’t have done 30 years ago. Now that our lives have changed, we can do almost anything with a click of a button. As technology is advancing, it is ruining our reputations and everyday lives because we use it too much. “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury is a story of parents who use too much technology to spoil their two kids which rely on technology and use it to kill their own parents. The Atlantic is an article on how technology has changed the concept of the community and how it affects people’s daily lives in mostly negative ways. In both sources, humans rely on technology too much, having a negative effect.

Technology altered modern society and it obviously brought numerous advantage to us.
Ray Bradbury warns us of the devastating effects technology held for human beings and society. As progress of science and technology rapidly grew, Ray Bradbury was in complete admiration of these advances of sprouting industrial science. Growing up in the mid-1900s, Bradbury witnesses the production of new telephones, television, radio and more. Technology is invading our personal and professional lives. Such advancements also played with the curiosity of hidden human ability to create new technologies, Bradbury comments on how new technological advancements effects society. Technologies ability to distract humanity of their attention and commitments, Bradbury illustrates, has endangered our relationships with one another. By giving into these inducements we become lured away from the experiences which may someday better human life. The increase use of technology has ramification for human services delivery and quality of life for clients. There are issues surrounding the technology itself. Today we rely on digital messages delivered electronically, education via the internet, and privately own rockets to space.
Technology can improve or help some jobs while making others unnecessary. An example the book uses is that ATMs and online banking has replaced the need for bank tellers, but has increased the need for other bank workers, such as financial analysts. So technology has replaced a middle skill level job for a more advanced skill level job that required a degree. This is referred to by sociologists as the skill-biased technological change. However, technology is only part of reason for the rise in inequality.
Before today’s modern technology ever existed, Charles Percy Snow, a famous chemist and novelist, once said, “Technology… is a queer thing. It brings you gifts with one hand, and stabs you in the back with the other.” (1). In Fahrenheit 451, the author, Ray Bradbury, shows this happening to Mildred who gets her entertainment from technology, but it leaves her incoherent with life. As a society, our use of technology grew to an extent where we now stand as victims of Bradbury’s prediction. Technology provides a sense of relief from daily tasks, so everybody uses it for their own advantages. As a result, the usage of technology today cultivated into a more prevalent asset in everyday lives where we accept our classification as blunt, ignorant, and idled. Bradbury’s prediction of a lazy society now stands as modern day’s reality.
Technology has always been a controversial subject between conservative people and innovators. Some people believe that it is a great tool to connect cultures and improve education and innovation in our society today, but others view it as a menace in our lives. “Growing Up Tethered” by Sherry Turkle and “George Orwell...Meet Mark Zuckerberg” by Lori Andrews both view technology as a dangerous tool. They believe in the many drawbacks of technology and the harm it can do to our lives with no explanation of the positive effects it has had on our society. “Our Future Selves” by Eric Schmidt and Jared Cohen plays the role of a positive look at technology and its role in our lives today. It gives examples of how advancing technology helps us and improves so many peoples’s lives. We can use Schmidt and Cohen’s essay as a lens to view the other two texts and gain a different understanding of what they are writing about.
First, technology is making the society smarter due to new machines; furthermore, technology has impacted in the America culture which is great. The influenced that technology has in America culture is good because it will change the way people think and develop new ideas in the future, so it can affect the American culture in good ways. For example, people will get educated due to new advanced technology because machines or programs will always be there to help human beings. Actually, computer and machines have the ability to think faster than humans being, so according to Thompson, “The computer would bring the lightning fast” because computers or machines have a database ready to think really fast (344). Every time human beings develop new innovations people worry about that the life is not going to be the same because technology will change their people’s lives because according to Thompson, the machine’s way of “thinking” is fundamentally unhuman” (243). In addition, when machines get better than the human beings, there will be great help from computers or machines. The America culture can be affect by the technology because new machines, but it will never have some negative influences. Technology will improve American culture in good ways because technology will help people in so many ways as thinking, developing new ideas, and new creations.
Having a lot of technology is a powerful thing that you can possibly think. Technology can help you with many things, so having technology will help us in the world by making new things such as the first poem states.
Technology can increase productivity to help countries compete with other countries in selling goods and services. Some say that without technological improvements, the economy would grow slowly or not at all. Society could remain the same for years.
