My friends, Today I want to tell you about a new programs being set up specifically the newest one, the Home Owners Loan Corporation. I understand how hard these past years have been, now welcome the three steps, relief, recovery and reform. The goal of these steps will lay the foundation to prevent this from ever happening again. We have created many programs passed by Congress to help you now and later. These new laws will prevent something like this from ever happening again. These programs to help you and your family. The Home Owners Loan Corp. will do two things, not only it refinance your home to prevent foreclosure, but the money you give the bank will also stop the bank closing. Many banks have gone under, dragging homeowners down
“…[F]or the benefit of the sick, [doctors avoid] any voluntary act of...corruption...whether [patients] are free men or slaves.” (2012) The quote above is from the Hippocratic Oath, which is a vow all doctors make, and states that doctors must not mistreat their patients. Nevertheless, medical officials’ maltreatment of their patients, especially African Americans, is a common theme seen throughout medical fields. The novel The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks further emphasizes the maltreatment of African Americans by showcasing the story of Henrietta Lacks who had her cervical cancer cells stolen to create an immortal line of cells, HeLa, that were used throughout the medical world without Lack’s or her family’s knowledge.
The current financial crisis, which had its roots from subprime mortgage crisis, began to increase dramatically in September of 2008. There have been significant economic disorders in United States alone. Major banks and financial organizations around the world are going bankrupt and writing down billion dollars. Housing markets are falling not just in United States but all around the world. This crisis is truly global and it is spreading like fire. Because of these economic crises, the US Congress came up with a $700 billion bailout plan to buy troubled assets from financial institutions who are struggling financially. Nevertheless, another bailout was proposed and it's the homeowner bailout. It is known that the foreclosure
The foreclosure crisis in our country has implemented a domino effect that may take years before we note any positive changes. As the country begins to heal, an effective process and/or program must be implemented that will reduce or eliminate foreclosures. It is important to remember that purchasing and maintaining a home is a part of the “American Dream,” and when working class families cannot seem to manage without loss of pride and dignity, then the dream begins to fade. The hopelessness and lack of self worth takes a giant step forward and brings with it anger and frustration which only damages families.
For the last several years, the one issue that has been bringing the United States into a state of trouble that it has not been seen since the great depression has been the monstrous Foreclosure problem. Thousands of people have lost their houses. Thousands of people have faced the dangers of debt and chaos. Thousands of people lives have been ruined because of the mistakes that Americans have done in this nation. In order to solve the problem, one must take a look at how it started and how this depression began. Around eight-nine years ago, the market in housing caused many people to chase after it. This caused a mistake of creating a domino affect that has hurt banks from lending out the high amount of money to people and finding out
Too many Americans have fallen victim to the crisis that has become the norm for our citizens these days. Lenders no longer want to work with individuals who have gone through the foreclosure process and for many it is not only their homes they lose. Some have lost their jobs and/or families, others fall into a deep depression and worst of all some have taken their own lives.
Banks now offer programs to help homeowners/homebuyers, but many times, these loans are often hard to obtain. The current programs have more stringent requirements that are unreasonable for distressed homeowners. In my opinion, the only way to rectify the foreclosure issue is to make a substantial change in how potential homebuyers and homeowners obtain loans.
Thank you very much for taking the time from your busy schedule; it was a pleasure having the opportunity being in your groups training class. Remember, the Mortgage Express platform is a different philosophy and will take a few times in the system to build your own process. Make sure you leverage all of the job aides and class book information in order to maximize your time in the system. I look forward to hearing all of your success stories in the
They say student loans are the “Good kind of loans.” When in all reality, any loan is not a good loan. Many students that take out loans to go to college, won't be able to make their student loan payment every month. The total estimated student loan debt in our country is one trillion dollars, the companies that are lending the money are making bank on students taking out loans for college. If this is what people consider to be normal, do you want to be normal? They say paying for knowledge, getting that higher degree, will enable you to get a better wage; so getting a loan now, is a small price to pay. So let’s say you take out a $70,000 loan, and you complete college, you apply for the carrier that you worked for. Your starting salary is $30,000
so nice to hear from you. I wonder what is happening to the families in our communities. All of the providers seems to be having a hard time recruiting. Our Head Start is struggling, especially home based. Although, I am fully enrolled but don't have any on waist except for a couple with level -3 eligibility (four to be precise). If that would help, please let me know. I do not look forward to see you reding off into sunset. What will happen to all the wealth of knowledge you possess? You need to give it away. Look into that, seriously, my humble request.
The United States economy has been in trouble for the past couple of years. The foreclosure crisis is a condition that began due to the inability of homeowners to pay their mortgages. Foreclosure is a legal proceeding whereby a lender obtains a legal termination of a debtor’s right to redemption. The foreclosure rates have been increasing for a considerable period and certain steps have been put into place to solve the problem. While the government, financial institutions and the general public are highly aware of the crisis, the steps taken to combat the problem are still not sufficient as the foreclosure rates are still increasing.
Many people are not comfortable in regards to the notion of a new idea; they tend to be called an “outsider” or even a “rebel” with a negative connotation. Although change may seem like a negative concept to some people, it is probably the reason why the world is as we know it today regarding religion, government/politics, society, and much more. For example, there are many different types of religions; in particular, there are many different branches of Christianity that were first introduced into this world as a form of change. One person standing up to the Catholic Church and introducing new ideas and beliefs is what caused a new religion, namely Christianity, thus different branches were also introduced due to different views. The
Seeing other people reactions towards foreclosure helps me to develop a meaningful value of life and how to appreciate it everyday of my life. As I see what is going on around me I came up with three plans that can be executed to help all people who are dealing with foreclosure issues. This can become a major factor for the economy. One is called Own A Home , Financially Fit, and Bills To Kill. These are guaranteed plans that will help any individual that feels that they are not financially secured to become a homeowner. The Own A Home program is designed for aspiring homeowner in which they
The foreclosure crisis is genuine and terrifying for what it could mean for America’s economic future. Home foreclosure may result from unemployment, excessive and unexpected medical costs and family problems. These issues are more chronic than they are acute and so it is impossible to say that there is a quick fix or a single solution to solving the foreclosure crisis. While some individuals want to wait out the crisis and let it fix itself, I believe that the current administration must “think out of the box” and find innovative and varied measures to try and tackle the problem. I will summarize some possibilities for ways to combat the foreclosure crisis that can help make our
Student have debts one way or the other by continuing their education after high school and the student are pressure by their parents or at the counselor’s office in high school to get a degree. The only way is by college they say, but some student can’t afford it up front and need financial aid to help out. Here is when the student get in trouble by signing the application before they read the terms and conduction what they just sign. Some student think they will find a good job and not worry, because they know they can afford paying the loan back. Lot of employers are looking for experience to quantify for that job. When they have a degree after they finish school and seek for a job and find out they are over quantify or under quantify for that job and there is no way to pay for the student loan at a minimum job or no job at all and seeking for a solution help for the student loan. Some seek a default on the loan and don’t want that in your history records there is a better solution and it a student loan forgiveness. The solution to the problem with student loan debt is to be educated about which loans are best out there. Choice the best one for your situation. Student don’t have to get in debt, because there is other ways to pay for college, like going part-time to college and have a full time job. Some company will pay for you college. Be wise before you sign the loan document and read the terms and conditions.
“Flight attendants, we are ready for take-off” I heard the pilot say. I put away my computer and tell my family I love them, but I want to sleep because my flight was at 7:50 am. But I can’t sleep! I am about to leave my hometown to come to my new home, New York. I have never stayed in New York for more than two weeks; rather I have never traveled on the subway with thousands of people I don’t know sitting in a seat where millions have sat before me. I am tossing and turning in my chair, so I start to think. What will my new life have in store for me? Will, I become a stereo topical New Yorker or will I stay a Chicagoan? Will New York be my home? I was ready for this journey; ready to get off the plane, and make my own “personal New York.”
