Although some people think that Global Warming is real because of the temperature rising in the earth's atmosphere, I have reasons why global warming doesn't exist. Scientist who believe global warming is real, their predictions about it have been proven wrong. Some scientist predicted that the temperature would increase dramatically, but the temperature has stayed the same ever since. I am against global warming because I don't think global warming exist. In the next few paragraphs, I will be explaining my reasons on why I am against global warming. Then I will be addressing the other side's argument. And finally I will be doing a conclusion paragraph and call to action. Global Warming is not real because there has not been no significant …show more content…
Global Warming is an increase of the average temperature in the earth's atmosphere. According to some scientists, global warming is caused by carbon dioxide and other air pollutants. It is also caused by the greenhouse gasses in the Earth's atmosphere and the absorbing of the the sunlight. Greenhouse gases is a gas that's in the atmosphere that absorbs the radiation within the thermal range. The first person who apparently discovered global warming was Svante Arrhenius, a Swedish scientist. In 1896, he was the first person to claim that fossil fuel combustion may result in enhanced global warming. People think that global warming is real and that the temperature is rising, but I have reasons why it's not real. Overall, that is all about global warming and its …show more content…
In conclusion, global warming is not real because predictions have been proven wrong, there has not been a significant temperature change, and arctic ice has been increasing. Predictions like increase of arctic ice and increase of temperature change have been proven wrong. Scientist said that there would be a significant temperature change, but it's been at a normal average temperature. Last is, arctic ice has been increasing. People predicted that arctic ice would be gone but it has been increasing by 50 percent since 2012. Remember, global warming is not real. If I was able to convince you that global warming is not real, great! If I wasn't able to, then I have some sources that you can look up and take your time reading it. Overall, that is all about why global warming is not
My PGEs have had direct and indirect impacts on student learning. As a Transition Coordinator, I was able to have a direct impact on my students through relationship and confidence building. These activities built a positive attendance pattern and created a love for learning, helping them immediately when the school year started. I had an indirect impact of (on) their future learning by educating their parents and sharing community resources with them. With my M.Ed. in TESOL and Bilingual Education, I had a direct impact on student learning using sheltered instruction strategies that allow my students to learn content as they build language. Through my participation on the Early Childhood Task Force, I have a huge indirect impact on student learning for every early childhood student in my district by establishing developmentally appropriate best practices for all classrooms. As a Title I Reading and Math Coach, I have an indirect impact on every student in my building (almost 1,000 students)! I am able to help teachers realize their full potential, which increases student engagement and learning in all areas.
It's no surprise to most people that the idea of global warming is a highly controversial and debated topic. But is there any real evidence that global warming is a growing problem or is global warming just a big scare tactic being used to get people to comply with strict government regulations? Global warming is widely believed to be the main cause of rising average global temperatures. In reality, global warming isn't really all what it has been exaggerated to be. Many of the predicted effects of global warming over time have actually been proven to be false all together.
if global warming exist then an abundant amount of true facts should back it up, not false facts. The ipcc 2007 report declared holland to be 55% below sea level, that was an exaggeration of 100% . The ipcc report that global warming is going to kill 40% of the amazon rainforest and cut African crop yields 50% has been found to be alarmist propaganda. The ipcc has also miss reported the supposed number of year that the ice caps will take to melt completely, the indian scientist reported by 2350 and then they changed it to 2035 do scare the
Global warming is not as big as a threat as claimed. There is a substantial amount of evidence proving that temperatures have fluctuated for thousands of years. Surface temperature recordings show a warming period from about 1910 to 1940, followed by a cooling period until 1975, and now we are experiencing a slight warming trend, again. In the seventies, scientists even claimed global cooling was occurring! Although there has been an increase in 1 degree celsius, that is enough to make a difference but not enough to call it global warming. In the past 2 years, arctic ice has also increased by 50%. According to townhall.com, some people have predicted all of the arctic ice would have melted by now. There is an obvious question to all of this, how can we be experiencing global warming where there is in fact, no global warming?
Is global warming real or fake? This is a question surrounded by major controversies. Global warming is described as the gradual increase in the Earth’s temperature, usually attributed to the greenhouse effect, caused generally by the increase of carbon dioxide. There are countless arguments based on this theory. Arguing on either side all scientists agree that the temperature has increased and so has a number of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. There have been plenty of studies and experiments to confirm whether this world-wide warming is actually occurring. However, studies and experiments do not prove anything, they only disprove the possibilities. This has been an extensive topic in the scientific world for several years.
Climate change known as global warming has been steadily increasing over time. Global warming is a catch phrase of social confusion. Society feels uncomfortable with this notion. Is it real or fake? Little do people know that human progression and population growth adds to carbon emissions in the atmosphere. The term greenhouse gasses mean H2o or water, Co2 or carbon dioxide, and N20 known as nitrous oxide. In the book titled Global Climate Change, it breaks down what global warming is and relays information about carbon dioxide being the primary cause to the negative amounts of greenhouse gasses. “Carbon dioxide is the primary greenhouse
Global warming is an increase in the Earth’s average atmospheric temperature that causes corresponding changes in climate. The Earth goes through natural heating and cooling cycles, but many people think recent spikes in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases due to developing industry are interfering with the Earth’s natural cycle, causing irregular global warming. The theory that humans burning fossil fuels causes global warming isn’t completely based on fact. It is based more on predictions of the future and assumptions of the past which cannot accurately be determined. Global warming is a part of Earth’s natural process, not because of human pollution.
Global warming is concerned with an average increase in the temperature of the atmosphere and the increase in the Earth 's surface temperature primarily due to the emission of greenhouse gases from the burning of fossil fuels. As for the processes of global warming, they can occur from a variety of causes. The causes include the things that are concerned with natural and human factors.
To begin, according to www.livescience.com global warming is defined as: “ The gradual heating of the Earth’s surface, oceans, and atmosphere; due to the greenhouse effect which is caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and many other pollutants (Bradford,2015). For many years in the science community there has been many debates regarding whether global warming is real or if it is just a simple theory or myth. However, I personally believe that global warming is real and it is negatively affecting Earth and humankind every day. A perfect example of a place that is currently suffering from the negative effects of global warming daily is the country of Indonesia.
Many claim that global warming is obvious and that all arguments against global warming fall. The problem is that what is “obvious” often isn’t true. “A gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants.” This is the Webster dictionary definition of Global Warming, which basically says that due to an overflow of harmful and hazardous chemicals in the air that it is creating a danger zone for the earth. This is because these chemicals are increasing the earths’ temperature. Svante Arrhenius, a Swedish scientist was the first person to claim that in 1896 that fossil fuel combustion may
Global warming is a very talked about subject in today's society dealing with climate change and the Earth’s overall environment. Global Warming is the general warming of the Earth’s atmosphere due to greenhouse gases. A greenhouse gase is a gas trapped in the atmosphere that absorbs infrared radiation which traps in heat from the sun rays that bounce off the surface of the Earth and stores the radiation
Although some believe that Global Warming has been created due to manmade pollutants, I believe that Global Warming is a natural process that has been accelerated due to the excess emissions of pollutants from nature and manmade devices into the atmosphere. The world has been said to be on a cycle of global warming and cooling, this process can neither be stopped nor prevented, but it can be accelerated with the addition of non-natural emissions from automobiles and factories; because this is a natural process, even if constraints were to be put on the amount of pollutants released into the air global warming could not be prevented—it could only be slowed. When the inevitable happens and global warming occurs, there are many
Global climate change has been a highly debated topic for decades. Climate change is a change in usual weather patterns found globally or in certain regions. This could be a change in a place’s normal temperature for its time or it could be how much rain a place gets in a year. Normally, climate change is considered normal on planet Earth. Things evolve and change all the time on our home, ever since it formed. Mother nature always goes through different phases. Our planet was a lot different millions of years ago, it was even different decades ago compared to today! It all ranges from culture to society to technology to everything in general. Change is just a part of everyday life. However, abnormalities such as rising global temperatures, melting ice caps and ocean acidification can pose a threat to humanity’s way of living. Our current society can thrive because of Earth’s conditions today and changes, even small ones, can deeply affect us. Our planet, Earth, has evolved alongside with our species. Researchers theorize that humanity is causing massive negative changes to our planet. Many sources, backed up by many scientists, claim that global climate change is real. Unfortunately, the majority of the general public still does not know whether it is actually real or not. This is because of greed and politics; people with higher authority help attribute to claiming that it is a hoax to benefit their own agendas. Whether or not anyone believes global climate change is real
There has been many research and large bodies of evidence that global warming is real and the global climate change is caused by that. As it mentioned in the article by Staurt D. Jordan this is a serious matter and it needs our awareness. There are many factors that contributes to global warming, it includes; human’s actions such as deforestation, burning fossil fuels, increase of greenhouse effect. Many scientists believe that 98% of climate change is because of human actions. This problem is not new and didn’t just occur overnight. This has been an issue for the past couple of decades. It’s getting worse as years go by and the evidence shows that earths temperature is increasing. We can see the side effects of this matter on daily bases. The ice burgs melting in the north pole which is causing see levels to rise, we are experience severe flooding near seashore towns and stronger natural disasters. Some people may not care because these issues has not affected them directly but if it’s not getting better means that it’s getting worse and it’s fair to say that the generation down the line will have to face this matter and it will not be a good situation. Global climate is not only affecting humans but also plants and animals. Agriculture and ecosystem is negatively affected by this. The change brings devastation to many living things every single day.
“When taking the heating of the entire climate system into account, our planet has warmed at a rate equivalent to 4 Hiroshima atomic bomb detonations per second over the past 15 years” (Cook). Our planet is becoming warmer. When scientists add up all the heat warming the land, oceans, atmosphere, ice melting, earth is accumulating heat equivalent to four Hiroshima bombs worth of heat per second. Global warming is a serious issue faced by our world as there has been a significant increase in temperature over the years. But the article published by Dr. Mark Sircus on “Global Warming -largest science scandal in the history” refutes the theory of global warming. Dr. Sircus states that there is no linkage between carbon dioxide and temperature leading to global warming, the sea level is not rising, arctic sea ice extent is now higher and climate change is due to solar activity. Dr. Sircus also points out that that the recent weather changes are not in line with global warming and “we are in the beginning of a deep freeze” (Global Warming - Largest Science Scandal in US History). NASA and the scientific community states that global warming is not a hoax and there is a rapid increase in Earth’s average surface temperature due to greenhouse gases released as people burn fossils. NASA states that the “key indicators of global warming are based on surface, satellite, and ocean temperature measurements, satellite measurements of energy imbalance and of receding glaciers, sea ice, and
