Gender equality refers to sexual equality that men and women should receive equal treatment as well as equal pay in the work place. Nor should they be discriminated against based on their gender. It can also be referred to as equality of the genders. It basically seeks to create equality in law and in social situations. Gender equality is also working to be present in political activities and securing equal pay in the work place. Gender inequality has gotten a lot better over the years and continues to be making progress towards becoming completely equal.

Males and females are treated differently by the time of their birth in societies. According to culture and society, parents stress the individualities and manners, which fit to perfect image of male and female. Also it includes the dressing mode, a way of walking and talking, playing activities and life’s ambition. With response these, boys and girls progressively adapt these definitions and learn to behave as per expectation. The biological difference is an obvious variant between genders. The difference in reproductive organs is more important, because it results in certain facts of life. E.g. One side, only men can impregnate. And the other side, only women are able to produce an ovum, able to give a birth, can secrete milk for nursing infants. Also, we can consider the body cells of men and women as a difference.
