Further My College Goals

I have decided on what I wanted to do with college since I was a child. It sounds ridiculous, but I am passionate about what I want to do. I was inspired at a very young age since I was in third grade, and I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. A teacher for what grade is what I did not know. As my family grew bigger with my nephews and nieces, I realized that I wanted to be surrounded by kids. I put what I wanted with my passion and got major. My intended major is to receive a double major in Primary and Elementary education, my goal is to receive a Masters in at least one of these majors.

Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.

In 2008 when I decided to start going to college I had no idea what I wanted to do; besides eventually be a Game Warden. Goals that I laid out for myself were simple at the time. I foresaw nothing that was going to get in my way. I was prepared to breeze right through everything. Personal goals that I had set for myself were to continue on with a happy marriage and lose weight. My academic goals consisted of graduating by 2012 and starting a master’s program right after graduating with my bachelor’s degree. Professional goals were to get my dream career of Game Warden and I wanted to teach EMS students. As life went on things changed drastically and while some of these goals are achieved others have been long gone and some have been pushed to achieve later in

College is expensive. No one can pay for it by themselves unless they’re a millionaire. What about the people who actually need help? I am one of those people. If given a scholarship, how will it benefit my education? If I was given a scholarship, it will benefit me in reaching my educational goal by motivating and pushing me to do better to make the organization proud and it will grant me the ability to get everything I need because it will not have any limitations to what I can do with it.

Enrolled at Miami Dade College is the starting point to complete my long life desire and goal of earning a Master degree in management engineering, and business administration. From the time I was a young kid through the time of high school, I had always have passion for more knowledge, and engineering. But in my senior year in high school to the time of summer, I have led to the discovery of another passion, and great ambition toward it (Business). However, to reach those goals, I will need the power of education, which provide more knowledge, and wisdom to whoever seek. Education has always been a major part of my life. While growing up, I always knew that I would graduate from high school and then continue my education in college. That has always been my plan and now I am making it a reality by attending college here at Utah State University. There are many reasons as to why I am here. The first reason would have to be that I made a goal when I was younger that I would attend college. My goals after college is to come out and feel satisfied with the things I've learned and to also come out and easily find a job. I think selecting film as my program with help me achieve these goals. I've always been interested with film making and have always loved making them. Ever since I was young I would always find myself making videos or movies with friends, and I was always the one that would come up with the ideas. I feel I will have a greater chance of getting the a job if I am a graduate of North Carolina State University.

My short term goals are to earn multiple degrees in college and discover what career I want to pursue. I plan to do this by working extremely hard in a wide variety of classes in order to find what fields I could work in and enjoy. Since I’m not entirely sure what I want to pursue in life, my only prevailing long term goal is to be content and proud of what I have accomplished. I feel that as long as I consistently work hard and strive to be the best I can be, I will accomplish this goal. To begin, I would like to express my passion for pursuing a college career. Since I was very young, one of my top goals has always been to have a job that I enjoyed going to everyday. Furthermore, when I started high school I knew I had to commence working towards that goal. It wasn't often a personal thought of mine that there would be such a stark difference between a high school graduate and a college graduate in regards to a healthy lifestyle and a decent salary. It wasn't until recently that I fully understood the complications of not finding a decent job that pays a suitable amount to not only support myself, but much less a family. It's these complications that bring light to my mind on the importance of gaining college experience and why it's extremely critical in not only my life but the life of those around me. College is just an absolute essential factor in life that all of us should drive towards in order to better our lives.

I am as of now going to school so that I may acquire my Associates Degree. My objective is to turn into a radiologist and that is the main inspiration I require. Before attending the University of Memphis, my writing abilities and thought process was quite narrow. Writing papers and essays have always been a struggle for me, I do not really have the best skills in writing. Entering college has showed me the importance of writing and how its importance will never vade. Knowing that, one of my ultimate goals in college is to improve in my writing, not only for myself, but also for my future in wanting to pursue a degree in nursing.

My names Mantrease Robertson II and I am a student at the university of Toledo. I was born on January 21. 1998 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. I am African American also I am the third oldest out of four kids. I graduated from Euclid high school. In high school I played basketball and football. I have many goals in life and in college and that I look forward to accomplishing.

. I am two months away from beginning my second year of my MA in History through the University of Memphis. I made the decision to go back to school because my husband is currently pursuing his career goals, to be an Officer in the US Army. We decided with moving around so much now would be the time to pursue my higher education goals because it can be done online. For example, since June 2015, I have moved from Lakeland, FL to Columbus, GA to Savannah, GA, and am in the process of packing up our latest apartment to move back to Florida while my husband deploys to the Ukraine for around five months. Going down to one full-time income has taken a hit on our finances, and by receiving your scholarship, I will go less into debt with student loans. (Currently my balance is 30,000.00). It is not just about the money; by receiving my MA I will be able to make some positive changes in my life.

Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors.
