In the first place the movie starts when in a forested area a spacecraft lands. One of the creatures get a part from his spacecraft and gets lost. He keeps running fast until he gets in the backyard of a house. Here is when the adventure starts.
Later on, in one house, a boy called Elliot is sent out to pick up a pizza when he is about to return a strange sound in the backyard catches his attention so he goes quickly to the backyard shed and he finds the creature and figures out how to attract it in to his room.
When they`re both in the room, he sees that it is a creature from other planet but that it is not hostile. The next day Elliot shows happily the creature to his siblings Michael and Gertie who promise they won`t tell anyone.
Elliot has the creature hide in his closet the next day, as everyone heads off to school. Unknown to Elliot, the alien has formed a mental bond with him, and these feelings carry on over to his Science Class, and he does strange things.

And here is when the problem starts. So the rest of the movie is about how Elliot and his family helpfully try E.T to return home.
Basically the story is about how E.T and Elliot make a friendship and how Elliot an his family help E.T to return home.
I think it is a good movie that transmits the value of friendship with fantasy and paranormal aspects. It is not like other extra-terrestrial thematic movies.
For example, we can compare it with Star Wars, even though they have a similar topic they`re totally different. Star Wars is more an action movie and E.T a familiar and friendly movie.
I would recommend this movie because I think it has a great message and that the plot is very
After Victor’s abandonment, the creature left Victor’s home and wandered into the woods. Initially, every encounter with humanity brought the creature pain and suffering as they were instantly terrified upon seeing the creature's horrifying appearance and treated him like the monster he appeared to be. Eventually, the creature came across a hovel in the woods that was within close proximity to a cottage where a family lived. The monster grew very affectionate toward his "protectors," emphasizing that beings are born to love, not hate.
The creature's physical grotesqueness makes the creature unable to attain affection from the human societies. The creature is initially rejected by his creator, who is the closest resemblance to a mother or father figure. Despite this relationship, Victor finds the creature to be a "miserable monster" (39). Consequently, as soon as life is present within the creature, Victor abandons his child. Victor claims that he "escaped, and rushed down the stairs" (40) away from the

Daniella Owusuwaah Ashley Dunn THE 191: Section K 28, April 2015 Avenue Q: Sesame Street Meets South Park Avenue Q is a laugh-out-loud, fast moving musical that is an adult version of Sesame Street that address racism, pornography, homophobia, and the parable of finding one’s purpose in life through satirical songs. On Friday, April 17, I saw Miami’s production of Avenue Q directed by Ms. Saffron Henke at the Gates-Abegglen Theatre. This unique show uses puppets as a shield to explore issues that are often hard and sensitive to talk about; it’s easy to talk about racism when it’s through a puppet. I believe that the goal of Miami’s production of Avenue Q was to present and educated to the community and the students about issues such as

As a result of Victor's neglect and rejection of the creature, society also denies the creature acceptance which creates a life of loneliness for it. The creature, after being rejected by Victor, is left helpless, wanders into a forest, and experiences what hunger and pain are for the first time in life. The creature longs for acceptance, especially from Victor, but is denied. For example, the creature first learns of its rejection from society when it enters the house of an old man that is cooking; it as at the sight of the creature that the man "shrieked loudly" (90) and runs out of his hut. From that moment the creature realizes it is deformed and unlike anyone else. While the creature is roaming through the woods one day it comes upon a cottage. The creature notes the inhabitants of the cottage, the DeLacey family, as being beautiful in comparison to its
The creature does not receive affection. Despite these unfortunate beginnings, the creature asserts that he was good, despite the absence of guidance and parenting until he encountered society. The monster first encounters physical sensations such as hot, cold, dark, and hunger. This period is the creature’s infancy state. He later learns through experience to distinguish, understand and handle these physical sensations. His sensitive experiences enable him to learn to care and sustain his being.
I enjoyed this film because it has a real story behind it and is something I
The tone of the movie was adventurous because a lion almost ate them, monkeys invaded the house and stole the cops car, and spiders tried to get them. Another adventure is peter rolled the dice and it said dont worry its not thunder but if you stay still that would be a blunder and the stampede came through the house and destroyed everything. They went into town and into the store and the human hunter was there and held judi, peter, and
The director’s choice of story line, special effects, mise en scene and acting all make E.T one of the best and most known films of all time. Summary An alien gets stranded on earth and gets discovered by a young boy Elliot. Elliot later names the alien E.T and
Comment: I found this film very tough going- it is undoubtedly a well made film and has some clever and quirky moments. However I lost interest around halfway through the film and could not engage with the film and its clunky style. A lighter touch would have made a huge difference to the viewing experience. Perhaps as an artistic statement it deserves more than three stars but as a movie going experience it was only a little bit better than average.
Overall I thought this was a really good movie. I thought it taught you a lot about diversity, women’s rights, poverty and peace. The movie was a very touching and inspiring movie; there is also a lot of emotion due to what they had to deal with on an everyday basis. To me the movie and their stories really teach you that you should be aware of your surroundings and to be helpful in your
